If that Gothim does end up going to Iris, then it's going to evolve hella fast if it's indeed the same one in the upcoming Kami episodes. That'd be...a little jarring to tell the truth. It's also worrying in the sense that it'd probably spell the end of potential gag interactions between it, Zuru and Kibago, if I may jump the gun a little.

That said...first Emonga and now possibly the goth line? Are there any other pokes that are vaguely similar to Iris in appearance? :P

NONONO! Iris does not need a Gothita!! Ash needs one more! The one from this episode is just a clone of Emolga in the fact that they are both selfish! EWWW, POOR WRITING! Ash needs a Psychic type in order to have one Pokémon of every type! Gothita is more MARKETABLE THAT WAY! It is attracted to ASH's SCRAGGY, ANYWAY! Plus, mostly Ash's Pokémon were in that image! It could just be sitting next to Iris because of the comfort of the couch! Or it could be Ash's Chandelure, anyway, since Ash is getting all the 3-stage Unova Grass, Water, and (Fire?) evolutionary lines, anyway... I still call Ash is lending Iris his Gothorita in the Kami Trio episodes, anyway!

It's just so gross looking. A Pokemon based off a gothic lolita? I mean, really? I knew by 5th gen some of the designs would be a little bit off because of lack of ideas and stuff, but a gothic lolita?! And on the main cast, too? I don't even understand how it's worthy of a capture because all it advertises is gothic loli subculture and the fetishists would have a freaking field day...

Aside from the Goth look, psychic types have annoyed me since the start because they can virtually learn all moves and are usually near overpowered.

In a pinch? Throw in a psychic type with telekinesis or psychic or confusion and it saves the day.
I wouldn't mind if the whole type was removed/replaced.

its first two forms are good they lost me with gothitelle, its still a good line though it need ed to resemble its previous forms more. but what if cilan gets one instead, it could be like brocks happiny helping with his cooking and stuff

Ash needs Gothita in order to keep the show profitable/Ash to have a female other than Snivy/Prevent Iris or Cilan from getting it. For further explanation, see the thread for BW055. I would also like to see Ash get the Chandelure from the image with Gothita, Ash's starters, and Pikachu, with Pansage, Axew, Fennel, and Professor Juniper added in. Methinks we just got a preview of Ash's next two captures in that fanservice image........plus, we might get more Juniper and Fennel this year(in those outfits LOL)!
