lucky if Buizel evolves at all. Seems to be following the pattern of Ash's water type not evolving.
Totodile back for the filler arc, I'm sure it would evolve then.
Well now that it is all settled the final team is confirmed.
Ash - Pikachu(obvious),Starpator(obvious again),Grotle/Totterra(it may evolve in BF),Buizel(it hates its evolved form),Inferinape (may evolve before or after BF,obvious again),Gliscor(do you really need a reason ) Maybe a Lucario(caught/befriended in BF). Anyways if Ash wants to win Sinnoh League ,he must call on his old Pals.
If anyone disagrees post a message now!!!!!!!!!!!
I think ash could win the sinnoh league with his sinnoh team.
The old group would be used in the following e4 saga.
The writers generally keep the region itself reserved for the team that debuted in it.
It's as I keep saying, now that Ash has so many old Pokemon, its going to get harder for the writers to bring them all back for a battle or so. It's a damn shame, because some will always end up ignored and forgotten and left to rot at Oak's lab.
The fact that you have to go back and re-watch old episodes just to see some of your favorite Ash Pokemon from pre-DP says a lot in itself.
you know if they do have another battle frontier arc i'd like to see Ash "construct" a team of pokemon from all four regions whilst still leaving an open sixth slot for emergencies.
then again if they do remake the second gen games, they'll probably ditch his sinnoh guys and focus on the main four jouto guys...
The Movie 12 poster had Staraptor in it and it happened, so I don't see why Monferno isn't going to happen too.
Keep in mind the Movie 11 promos spoiled Gliscor and Swinub, we had no idea Gligar would evolve so soon or Dawn would capture Swinub at the time, and the Movie 11 advert spoiled it.
So I don't see why the Movie 12 adverts wouldn't say the same thing.
Chimchar anywhere in the averts, so its highly unlikely Chimchar would still be a Chimchar while its evolutionary form is posted all over the place. Kind of seems like an insult, I mean why wouldn't Chimchar be in the movie, I mean it is a starter, and Grotle is likely to be in the movie. The only likely answer is because Chimchar evolved.
Yeah, its pretty obvious the Monferno in the poster is Ash's anyway.
All I can say is thank god. We were all worried we were going to get a Cyndaquil redux with Chimchar, but I'm glad to see we were wrong. Now with most of Ash's Pokemon evolving at least once (sans Buizel), all fears of Sinnoh turning into Johto 2.0 have been averted. Ash having cutesy Pokemon seems to have ended with Johto.
I guess its as we said, the writers are going to shove all the cute Pokemon on the female trainers now (in this case Dawn), while Ash's evolve. It's pretty much the same thing that happened in AG with May, although she at least got to have her starter evolve, something that obviously isn't happening with Dawn and Piplup.
I actually don't mind the coordinators with cute Pokemon since it fits them, but I'm glad Ash is allowed to become a powerful trainer.
It's also cool that the main girl is allowed to at least have one or two "not so cute" Pokemon.
May with Blaziken and Venusaur, Dawn with Mamoswine (Ambipom, depending on how you look at her) and who knows what else.
I always hate how people, when predicting teams, always give Dawn nothing but cute Pokemon and have Mamoswine released. Like girls can't have powerhouses or something.
Munchlax wasn't "cute" per se either, and Beautifly was technically a fully evolved Pokemon, even though the bug Pokemon evolve quickly in this show.
I always figured Mamoswine was given to Dawn in the first place to make up for Piplup never evolving. That way Dawn has a fully evolved three-stage Pokemon and Piplup can go on being a mascot.
