Pokémon Evolution/Capture/Release Thread

Right now they seem to be associating Ash with the types of pokemon that he had associated in the past. Not including Pikachu, Ash caught the resident bird of the region. He will soon obtain the Mijumaru that is stalking them (fitting the starter theme).

The female Tsutarja seen in the previews... It could go either way. We do know that a Tsutarja (outside Shooti's, which was obtained in a lab) will be caught. Whether it be Ash or TRio or a COTD, again that remains to be seen. All that is confirmed at the present for Ash's roster is Pikachu, Mamepato, and Mijumaru.

I hope all of Ash's Isshu Pokémon will be in fully evolved forms by the end of BW. Though I don't like their design much.

oh great. Ash catches a reigonal bird once again. I was against releasing pokemon but you know, i hope ash releases his latest reigonal bird someday.

Am I the only one that actually likes Mamepato XD

we know Ash will catch mijumaru in episodes 3 or 4.

We know Pokabu is seen battling teh gym.

so the question si out of the six fire pokemon what one is Ash most likely to get. Pokabu, Baoppu, Darumakka, Hitomoshi, Kuitaran, Meraruba.

I can see Ash with Pokabu, Darumakka or Meraruba.
I cannot see Ash with Baoppu due to him already having a fire monkey, or Hitomoshi cause he never captures ghost types or Kuitaran.

Pokabu seem the most likely though.

The grass type could be anything though Tsutarja and Shikijika seem the most likely. I will simply guess for Tsutarja. the other gras types can be caught by Dento.

The Pokemon I would like to see Ash capture as the wildcard are Dangoro, Fushide, Meguroko, Zorua, or Banippuchi.

you know what as long as he doesn't catch a ground pokemon i'll be satisfied, seriously enough already, he just had three in sinnoh and used Donphan in the league as well.

Let his wild card be something different.

^what's wrong with Ash catching the fire ghost? or Anteater? at least they'd stand out from Infernape who overshadows the other fire choices.

To be fair he never got a dragon type before Gible so anything can happen. Based on what we know the most likely scenario is that he gets all 3 starters but it could turn out different

Shooti's smugleaf looks male, the one we see alot is female and acts more elegant. I'm betting either Ash or Dento get their hands on this Pokémon.

I hope Ash get Gigaiasu for a change, the first Rock type and a super slow Pokémon.

If Ash gets a Ghost type, I like to believe that he will get Gobitto/Goruggo. Of all the ghosts introduced this generation, this line that's the most benevolent of them all, and not to mention it (Goruggo) can FLY. I also hoped he gets more than six on the team, with some in reserve/released, because I personally believe that with many new Pokemon this generation, more Pokemon needs to be put on the spotlight, though I guess his partners will also be able to share the job on the pool of Pokemon.

Ash was able to get an ice and dragon Pokemon, now he needs either a dark pokemon or a psychic pokemon next. Or maybe both.

good point, the last two series he's got two types he has never caught before, Ice type snorunt and dragon type Gible.

So if it follows that then he still has a Dark, Ghost, Steel and psychic types to catch.

Ash captured Lapras in the OI so he already had an Ice type before. I would like to see him with a type he's never had I just hope he doesn't capture a ground type pokemon unless the writers decide to have him capture more than five pokemon

I've also been wondering if they show the dream world in the anime, does anyone think it's possible for one of the main characters capturing a dream world pokemon
