Really, I hope that ash gets the other fossil if Cilan gets one of the fossil pokemon in Unova. Also I can't see Cilan with a pawniard, for he appears to me like he is going to catch a wide variety like Brock did through the whole series.

I already think that Ash has too much pokémon as it is so... though the rock flying fossil would have been a good alternative to Tranquil. I like that they're not afraid to give strong and not necessarily cutesy pokemon to sommeliers, so the fossils appealed to me. I'd like them to surprise us with Dento's 3rd pokémon.

Still, I've just realized something. Between the trio and the TRio, the main cast members have caught 15 out of 17 types so far in Unova. They only miss a Poison type and an Ice type to complete the set. If only Ash had caught a Venipede instead of Sewaddle... *sigh*

There's always hope for Ash catching a Cubchoo or Cilan getting Vanillite (the food set!). Cryogonal...er, not so much. xD

As for the Poison-type...Iris can get one. Garbodor!

Ewww Vanilite and Foongus would both fit the food theme... let's hope the writers don't go there.

Must... resist... temptation...

But really, out of the 5, the only character that right could use another pokémon is Cilan. We don't see TR battling enough and not enough of TR's pokémon to warrant them getting more at the moment. Iris has way too many problem pokémon without adding another and with Sewaddle, Ash has already too many pokémon.

Ishizumai's been getting some decent screen time lately with the Cabernet episode, the Litwick ep and this week's episode. Since Cilan actually uses his pokémon on a regular basis, there's no point in him not having one more ;)

So yeah... I'd like something different. Maybe something really big that would counterbalance the team a bit. :D

Haha, I think Vanillite would be nice with Cilan. Foongus, though...not so much. Grass-type overload. :P

Cubchoo with Jessie sounds lovely, as well.

Oh, well I didn't mean anytime soon for any of these (except maybe Cilan since like you said, he needs one the most).

Once Iris's Pokémon are better behaved/stronger, then maybe she can get something.

Swanna would be fitting, but 1) evolved Pokémon aren't typically caught by the main cast, and 2) the writers should really think more outside the box.

I'm not a big fan of Komatana's design (and Kirikizan reminds me too much of Dren from Splice to make me feel comfortable). Komatana would be incredible, though.

Did you mean Kojondo would be awesome? Cause if so, I totally agree. The species has a grace and elegance that's very Dento. :)

I think a great fit for Jessie and James respectively are Frillish (female) and Ferroseed, preferably with evolutions. Frillish is probably going to be pompous, and Ferroseed is very spiky. Perhaps by doing this, they will promote a known combo in competitive battling using Jellicent and Ferrothorn as a defensive core, which fits the duo's teamwork nature.

The difference is the genders, but who knows? It might be possible. Besides, I think female Frillish looks good with Jessie.

I tend to agree that Frillish isn't a good match for Jessie.
Ferroseed for James would work.

More likely are Purrloin and Tympole. Devious tactics and resistance against Ash's starter.

Vullaby and Durant would be other options.

Choroneko for either of the Rockets would be cool, but I just can't see them having two "evil" cats in the main cast. It would be interesting to see how Choroneko and Nyasu would work together, but eh... It just sounds so weird to me!

Yes, I do hope this happens. *drinks fancy tea* This would be so shippable.

I think James might catch a Maractus. The gag of him getting hurt won't continue (and he'll have to put his foot down and make it clear that he won't be having any of that during work), and it'll continue a pattern of him having pointy things.

I'd like to think that Scrafty will evolve - its evolution is too derp not to have it on the main cast.
