Thread: Movie 15: Kyurem VS The Sacred Swordsman: Keldeo

It would be jarring if they included one of the starters' evolutions alongside the 12 previous unevolved starters. I don't think the poster means anything in terms of the TV series.

I love how all the pokemon featured on that poster have been significant to the series or franchise in one way or another...and then there's this completely random Dugtrio just chilling out at the back.

Additionally, the ensemble cast on that poster just makes me want to see Pikachu shorts make a return. I mean, lets face it. With some of the pointless dicking about in recent movies thanks to an extended run time, they might as well replace it with something entertaining!

That Drifblim is equally random.

I'm willing to overlook Drifblim due to it making it's debut in a movie and helping out Tonio.

Dugtrio on the other hand? Well...it's a Dugtrio.

Well, Unova to me is alot like how old Kanto use to be, so I wouldn't be surprised at all at this point if his 3 starters were still unevolved.

Agreed. Kyurem is being done so much justice by that poster. He almost looks Jurassic Park worthy. Like many others I didn't like his appearance at first back when he was first revealed, but now hes just plain epic.

I almost hope that if he does get an alternate form that he'll retain some of the Dino motifs.

similar to the 10th movie plot. and have nothing to do with the musketeers back story or kyurem's :S

And we barely know much about the movie, anyway.

For all we know, it could focus on their backstories.

What plot are you talking about? I can't find it on the website. All I can see is that it will be centered around friendship (as if that wasn't already the point of the franchise), and that the settings of the story will be in an abandoned steel factory and the "ice dragon gate".

So, uh...is there any real point to having the other Pokemon on that poster other than remind us of the cold hard fact the best member of Team Rocket won't be coming back?
