I thought of this for Mega Blaziken:
Check out my Smash 4 Speculation Blogs
Current Entry: Bowser's Castle, Hyrule Castle, and Underworld Stages
When I saw Blaziken I automatically thought of May and her's, and seeing them back in Pallet Town would be kind of nice. Lucario makes me think of Cameron, but he's probably out of the serious for good, and I doubt that if he was brought back he would even know what Mega Evolution's were.
I'd guess they won't be brought up until he officially gets to Kalos, and I wouldn't be surprised if he first learned about them from that new Gym Leader.
Brock will somehow run into Samantha, whose Mawile in its mega form will fall in love with Ludicolo, but still not like it in its normal form. Ash'll run into the two and they'll become the Kalos companions. We'll actually get some humor in the series with Mawile constantly alternating between loving and hating Ludicolo, leading Ludicolo to sink into a deep depression, only to be cured by Brock's constant use of the Pokemon Amie feature. With their newfound companionship, Brock and Ludicolo will take up soccer just to fit in some Super Training references.
Kills like 8 birds with one stone, that one stone being Mawile's Mega Stone.
I just hope the existence of Mega Lucario doesn't give the writers a reason to bring back....Ugh...Cameron >:I But maybe it could be a reason to bring back May, especially if Hoenn gets a remake this gen.

I seriously doubt that they'll bring back Cameron to showcase MegaLucario. They could just introduce a new character in Kalos with a Lucario rather than bringing back a League rival. Though, I'd be happy to see Lucario appear in the next series and its Mega form practically guarantees that it will appear, so that's pretty awesome. I wouldn't want to see Cameron again, but seeing any Lucario in the series would make me happy.
Team Flare will probably be interested in gaining money from Mega Evolutions, somehow, like stealing items that let some Pokemon transform into their mega form.
Two words: Mega Torkoal. Ash's torkoal (and torterra too, actually) could use some redemption. And, well, at least, mid-battle evolutions are now legal in game too. I won't bet Ash will have old gen pokemon for the sake to showcase the mega mode, though. Ash just can't have the best of the gen (normally).
Lucario and I'm satisfied. :D

Man, when you stop to think of it DP did have some crap in it. Its just that when people think about DP, they only remember Paul, Pokehunter J/Galactic and all the Gyms and Contests episodes....basically the good parts.And... there are actually a lot of BW episodes that have pissed me off. By this point it'd be easier to just list the ones that I can stand to watch. The more the series progresses, the more the writing of these episodes piss me off.
I presume Ash or at least one of his companions are going to capture at least one Pokémon able to use the Mega Stone. Such a big change to the formula is most likely to be highlighted greatly, especially if it is somehow connected to a gym leader.
I think the chances of him catching a Blaziken are pretty slim since May already had one, using a second eletric type on his team would be redundancy, he obviously will not get a legendary, and for some reason Lucario doesn't seem to blend well with Ash (and he is overexposed too). But I can totally see him using a Mawille or an Absol.
Interesting proposal. However, it would have to be on the designated bruiser for this gen. I can see no one else they would give a Mega Form to unless we had one of the reserves here with Pikachu. That doesn't look too likely right now.
Step into the Fairy circle
I want transformation sequences and theme songs. For those who don't know how awesome transfomation sequences are (particularly in Digimon), here.
For a hypothetical Mega Evolution of the original anime Mewtwo.
I looked back at one of the movie trailers, and the transformation sequence does mimic the one seen in the game, only without the breaking sphere and the DNA thing.
Step into the Fairy circle
Transformation sequences are cool. They already shinied up the evolution sequence, so why not?
As long as they aren't 10 frikin' minutes like Tokyo Mew Mew. -_-
But yeah, Mega Pokemon will probably be in the Anime. Though, I suspect the way to obtain them will be slightly different.
(If Cameron comes back with a MegaLucario, he'll probably curbstomp a tournament with just it because he thought a full team in Kalos was 1 Pokemon).
I believe Mega Evolutions could be portrayed as a big thing in the anime, I hope it won't be just for one episode.
I'm sorry, but I think it would be sort of a waste not to have Cameron be the one to showcase Mega Lucario. They have this late comer to the anime, with a Lucario, who does not have too much going for him right now; that's an open opportunity right there. Besides it's not like we haven't had a League rival come back before (Ritchie is right now the first and only one to do so) so yeah, I'll be disappointed if I don't see Cameron showcasing Mega Lucario.
