Perhaps this means that we're finally going to see more of Team Plasma. Looker was in BW to investigate and capture the sages, after all.
Guessing after the league, they might take on some of the story aspects of BW/B2W2 where Looker can be involved. It's going to be interesting how the writers will do all that and re-introduce him back in the series for a short while. It's cool to see that he'll make a reappearance in the future and hopefully it would be something Team Plasma related.
Fingers crossed for Team Plasma.
With the timing after the League, question of what will be used to fill the gap between now and Gen 6, and the upcoming movie, it's begging to happen.

If it is, I wonder how they're going to pass 30 eps or so with it. I guess an indication is better than anything, though.

Well, the anime is still in the middle of the fifth gen, and the Unova League is expected to last only a few months. I'm not surprised that Looker will appear for the inevitable post-Unova arc coming up.
The number of people at SPPf who are convinced that Team Plasma are confirmed to come back is staggering. They say that Looker could only be interested in them rather than Team Rocket. Nevermind the fact that he works for the International Police and should be especially interested in the organization with international activities that we know is still at large, as opposed to the one that hasn't done anything so far. Team Rocket being back in Kanto isn't an argument against them since there is no obvious reason why Ash would stay in Unova after the league. Finally, we've been promised that Team Rocket will return, whereas nothing at all has been said about Team Plasma.
We're most likely more than two thirds into the series. 30 post-league episodes should be enough for a few villain-related episodes, but I don't see the point of introducing Team Plasma so late after they've been given no development. There isn't enough time for a brand new plot starting from scratch, since the anime is highly unlikely to to focus on any villain-related plot for more than six episodes over a 8-month period. Even if the Meteorite two-parter were to air, it would just come at the expense of new episodes.Quote:

First I'm just gonna say "Nooooo...oooo!" to this as I have never seen the appeal in Handsome and personally think he never added much at all to the Galaxy Gang episodes.

But let's not go crazy, people. Just because our favorite international police agent is paying us a visit does NOT mean that he's bringing TP or those episodes with him. Sure, it would be cool if after the League we dealt with TP for the rest of BW, but sadly it's too little, too late.
Generation 5 is (apparently) ending next year and BW only has about, oh, forty or so episodes left after the League. As nice as a TP arc would be, it's just soooooo much easier to pull random nonsense out of one's ass. Especially since the BW writers CLEARLY don't know how to handle a story arc in the first damn place.
I'm just gonna look on the bright side in that we're getting some villainy again, be it TR or someone anime exclusive :-)
