Thread: Dub season 16 announced: Pokémon Black & White: Adventures in Unova

Thanks to my friend, nhjm, I have received the title of the upcoming sixteenth Pokémon dub season.

The new season is called: Pokémon Black & White: Adventures in Unova
No airing date or episode titles are known.

It could be worse. I mean, it's no Rival Destinies, but it's nothing awful.

What a horrible title. It's not creative whatsoever. And most of their adventures in Unova are already over.

So...were we in another region the entire time?

"Adventures in Unova." Are TPCI even trying anymore?

Really? Ash and co. have already BEEN in almost every in-game location in Unova in Seasons 14 and 15. The only exception is Opelucid City.

At least "Rival Destinies" was somewhat appropriate, given the eight episodes devoted to the Clubsplosion and WTJC. We also had three episodes for Bianca, one episode for Trip, one episode for Burgundy, one episode for Georgia, one episode for Stephan, and one episode for Kotetsu. 16 episodes that featured rival characters out of a total of 50-something episodes is not bad for Season 15.

I'd say that "DP: Battle Dimension" was the most irrelevant dub title season yet.

Not to mention it's just like "Adventures in the Orange Islands". I know nhjmn is very reliable, but I honestly hope he's wrong about this title.

Adventures in Unova?

Hm, is it possible that they could be referring to the gang actually only going out on adventures in this season instead of Ash actually traveling for a battling quest? It might start with the League, but afterwards... After all, this whole thing with N might take up a huge part of the season.

Wow, what a terrible title. It's not nearly specific enough; are these adventures in West Unova or East Unova? :P

It's probably too late for them to even realize it's a bad name now since they likely already bought the theme song for it.

I do hope this title would not become irrevant, if they leave Unova. "Adventures In Unova" will probably begin after the Drayden/Iris episodes. S

I think that they will start in the Snivy/Cinccino episode. Also, the title says Unova because:

In Japan, after the Unova League, the N's arc will start.

Sorry, but to understand the title, we must know spoilers that hasn't already happenedin Japan and came three days ago.

It makes sense, but the title still sucks. TPCi could've done better.
