"A new Pokemon Ranger game will come out for the 3DS. It'll be awesome, but the fandom will ignore it because it has bad taste."
I knew there was a reason I liked you.
Dogasu totally has to review the Pokémon Live! musical which was just recently put on YouTube!
If he doesn't do this for April Fools', I don't know if my life will be complete.
Do a barrel roll!
Yup. Took N1 back in December.Originally Posted by MizuTaipu

If Best Wishes! ends this year, that means we're getting Generation VI this year. That seems extremely unlikely.Originally Posted by Quattro ~ Bajeena

Nice recap of "Meowth's Scrafty Tactics."
I thought Team Rocket being all dark and brutal was truer to the games, but I am okay with you not liking them that way. I welcome a bit of comedy in this show. It is one of the most well-known elements of the series; and I think a franchise about creatures that fit in little balls and fight at commands of ten-year-olds can't take itself too seriously. I'd like too see what you think of Meowth making a reference to The Eagles in the next episode, and the complete insanity of the episode after that.
Dogasu, do you read TvTropes?

He's used them as a reference in a fair number of recaps. Family Friendly Firearms in particular sticks out in the Legend of Miniryu recap.
Thanks for the mini-summaries, Dogasu.
It's nice to know what's happening in a manga.
Hopefully you can catch up on the others...
I did notice a mistake, though.
You stated there was 36 chapters, but I counted 37. Unless you mean you added 36 more? (Or the unconfirmed Black's First Trainer Battle?)

I liked your recap of Purrloin: Sweet Or Sneaky.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the reference Meowth made to the Eagles' "Take it Easy" in one of his closing lines.
You could tell the stuff in the collapsing mine shaft was CGI? I was too busy noting how dark the situation was, compared to; say, the kids in the park in "Hypno's Naptime". Seriously, it reminded me of the part with the incinerator in Toy Story 3.
Anyway, I await your recap of "Beheeyem, Duosion, and the Dream Thief." I loved that episode for its absolute insanity.
Hideki Sonoda also has a Facebook account (Rika Matsumoto is friends with him). Also "Meowth's code" probably refers to like a "handbook" of moral regulations.
I wonder if the next episode comparison will require yet another euphamism for vagina :P
The weird syntax of the title "Enter Elesa, Electrifying Gym Leader"?Also, 100 Internets to those of you who know what I'm referring to in the title of this update post.
I've only been there two or three times. Didn't really care for it.Originally Posted by Joltik

Actually, I see that I counted the two chapters in Pokemon Fan Issue 14 as one chapter. Whoops!Originally Posted by Eitarou
And to clarify about the "unconfirmed" thing: The reason I put that there is because I don't actually know for a fact that the magazine that chapter was originally printed in is the one I say it is. I don't have the Japanese version of that chapter, so I had to rely on an educated guess to determine that "Black's First Trainer Battle" was printed in the May 2011 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!. I don't think I'm wrong, but until I can get a copy of the issue and confirm that for myself, I'm going to leave that "unconfirmed" there.
I was also going to add an "unconfirmed" to the other chapters I don't own the Japanese versions of, but I guess I forgot.
I didn't know that was from an Eagles song until I looked it up just now.Originally Posted by AvatarAce2015
Anyway, I only think Meowth says "come on baby, don't say maybe" because the writers love to make him rhyme. That's it. And even if I was convinced that that *was* an Eagles reference, I don't think it would really be worth commenting on.
But why bring it up? There was nothing in the Japanese version about this, so why would TPCI add this random line about something that doesn't exist? Did they think it was funny? Or expanded on Meowth as a character? Or made any sense whatsoever?Originally Posted by MizuTaipu
