Heh. The competitors were named after pro wrestlers. Who would have guessed? And it seems no one caught that when the episodes originally aired either (not that I really expected any to catch such an obsure reference).
Oh, I learned something here, all right.![]()

We are kindred souls, you and I.Speaking of comedy: Yoshihiko. The writers seriously need to bring him back in the future.

Watchog guy is based off a wrasslin' blow-up doll? Uh...um, wow.
Despite that, I hope he makes another appearance. :D
Despite them being named after Japanese wrestlers, I think it's neat that more characters have more..."English-y" names as an allusion to Unova being based off New York and being a far-away country. The rivals' names for instance: Shootie, Langley, Cabernet, Luke, Kenyan, Bel, ect.
But then they turn around and draw all the cars with their steering wheels on the right side, or have people bow to each other ^^;;

Why does everyone want Jimmy Ray to have another appearance? Besides his funny appearence, he added little to nothing to the Club Battle saga and hopefully we DON'T see him again unless he adds to the plot. I'd rather see more of Luke or Stephan, at least their characters are more developed.

Because as a creepy character in a Watchog costume, he's got the potential to be hillarious. I can't think of any other reason, though to be frank, it's one I wholeheartedly agree with.
Seeing more Luke or Stephan would be nice, but Watchogman had/has a potential to be a funny/kooky character, as Gravy said. Why else would the writers put him in a Watchog costume and be a bit of a creepy ("Hey girl, *wink*"), rather than some normal bland COTDs like Omega and Sylvester. I'm guessing the writers were juggling too many characters already and he got shoved back with the other COTDs.
We'll see what the future holds (or not) for WatchogDude.
For some reason, whenever I look at Yoshihiko, I'm reminded of Harley dressing up as Haruka in the Grand Festival. I can't really put my finger on it, but he gave off this vibe that made me believe that a battle between him and Iris (or anyone, really) has the potential to be this great comedy battle.

Dogasu, was the test you took the JLPT test, or was it specifically for a job?
Not all those who wander are lost...

Because of Dogasu, I started concurrently watching the subtitled and dubbed Best Wishes episodes to see how close they got things. Regarding the future of Best Wishes, here are my best wishes:
I want to see the Rocket Vs. Plasma episodes, and have N and Ghetsis appear.
I want Ash to get an Emboar, Samurott (the time has come for a fully evolved water starter), Serperior, and Krookodile.
I'd like to see dubs of the "One Year Later" specials that Brock and Dawn got.
I'd like to see more tributes to other shows and movies. The Tornadus/Thundrus/Landorus thing was like a Kaiju film, but I want to see some tributes to other anime or Toku shows. (They've done Kamen Raider, so why not one of Super Sentai/Power Rangers?)
I imagine they're going to do some sort of promotion for the Pokémon and Nobunga's Ambition game; and I'd like to see how they handle that.
However, I'm going to have to disagree with Dogasu on the dark Team Rocket and the Club Battle arc. I found those to be fresh additions to the show, and I'm sorry he didn't like them.
