One thing I never understood with the Arhops episode.
Before that episode, they were headed to Nimbasa. Then, they are suddenly back at Fennel's. I'm surprised I saw no mention of this at all.
@gotpika : I'm almost positive it was claimed to be Fennel's. :/

If it is Fennel's place, that would serve as a plausible explanation for why it takes the group so long to reach Nimbasa City. They're not really following a linear path; they'll circle around to address a plot and create all this backtracking that they then have to make up for in following filler episodes.
Which means technically the narrator could be lying to us in some episodes.
Are you going to point out Hilbert's appearance in the fishing sommelier episode?
If someone tells me it's wrong to Hope for Victory, I'll prove them wrong every time.
The comparison for 'A Fishing Connoisseur in a Fishy Competition!' is up on the site, along with a lengthy article detailing the differences between the pre and post 3/11 versions.
I think it's a really good and interesting comparison, although I'm surprised that the dialogue change when James sends out Yamask is changed from the original (given that Ash seems to scan Yamask for Bianca's sake, while Satoshi was checking it for himself).
No, Satoshi is scanning Kojirou's pokemon for Bel's sake in both versions. The dub didn't change anything.

So now that "Origins Part I" of Power Rangers Samurai has aired, we know it's a legit "Episode 1", but officially counted as episode 19/special. The opening is basically the same as we see in "The Team Unites", but without Skull/Spike scene. And that's just one example of airing stuff out of order. The real reason for that is unknown. "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" is another example, airing episode 19, "Widow's Sting" before Kang 3-parter so it could air without any break in between.
That said, looking over the 'net, several sites refuse to acknowledge the real episode numbering, causing a lot of confusion...
Am I a bad person for laughing at this?"Here's this week's episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes! This episode was supposed to air back in April, but we pulled it because a sizable chunk of our viewers died in that tsunami back in March. Remember that? Remember all that death, and sadness? Anyway, enjoy the show!!"
Sorry to nitpick, but we do get a flashback scene of this episode just a couple of episodes later when Bianca and several other past trainers gather for the Don Battle Tournament, so I wouldn't really label this episode as a filler unless you want to want to consider the Don Battle Tourney as filler (which could potentially be referenced later). But the main point still stands and I agree on those accounts.Sure, it's ultimately a useless filler, but it's a fun useless filler.
Good job with the write-up on the edits for the delayed episode.
@Eitarou: Yeah, you are. So am I. No complaints.
I'm asking this as someone who hasn't watched anything dub-related since Johto Journeys: Has Giovanni ever been mentioned by name in the dub?...there's the thing the dub always does where they have Team Rocket refuse to use Giovanni's name for whatever reason.
