He never caught more of Ho-oh then glimpses of it flying in the air.

Ash is literally standing there with Raikou in front him at the end of the movie.

I just recall the beast trio running around chasing Zoroark.

While Ash did stand in front of the shiny legendary beasts, it is no wonder that Kelleo doesn't remember it since there was no real interaction involved, as Ash was only worried about Celebi and Zoroark. So what if Ash only caught a glimpse of Ho-Oh? At least he acknowledged it and carried the memory of that event.

It would be terrible if Ho-Oh ended up getting the same treatment as the legendary beasts did. If the original plan was for Ho-Oh and Lugia to have such a meager role in Movie 13, I can't complain about their being removed.

I doubt it. Too much time has past and most viewers these days wont even know who Ho-oh is, let alone remember that episode.

Anything is possible I guess. I once thought that Ash would never meet Giovanni, but it's going to happen apparently. So I would say that Ash might meet Ho-Oh someday as well. But to be frank, I wouldn't lose sleep if Ash didn't meet Ho-Oh. I just don't find Ho-Oh to be all-that interesting anymore.

I don't think Ash will be meeting Ho-oh anytime soon. Maybe in the veeeeeerrrrrrrrrrry last episode, but from the looks of it, the anime isn't ending anytime soon.

For me, I never really liked Ho-Oh, so personally I'd prefer if a whole movie wasn't wasted on it.

But on an objective level, I'm also surprised it was never given a big role anywhere :3 Oh well, I guess it's for the best lol

I don't think Satoshi will actually ever meet Ho-oh, but he may see it again, just as he has in the past. I think it's better left a mystery to him. Not for any real reason, besides that he's met enough legendaries, why not leave one unknown to him?

I've always seen Ash and Ho-Oh's conection as very important, I think they've planned it from the start to be a final episode thing or closing movie, he saw Ho-Oh in that first episode and since then he mentioned it a couple times, it was disscussed quite a bit in the Tin Tower episode he saw it a second time, lit the cauldron at the johto league with its flame, saw it a third time after being posseessed by the very king that fought it. Weird that 3 episodes that focus on Ho-Oh didn't really have it in them, they did that on purposs. Ho-Oh has not appeared since but was mentioned once or twice in DP as well as being in the final DP opening being chased by Ash, that is symbolism. Ho-Oh is different to Raikou, Raikou didn't meat Ash untill the 13th movie by coincidence, but I'll bet my soul they are saving Ho-Oh. If not they have missed a trick.

Nope. That was meant to have a Celebi inside, but that story arc was scrapped in favor of movie 4.
