Thread: BW92: Ash, Iris, and Shootie! The Last Battle!!

So, next ep has Pignite vs Serperior.

Clearly Ash has the advantage and is gonna win......

Stupid that they allow Ash to loose with Pignite against Jaroda! I would get anything other but with Pignite! I just hope they don't hype a Pignite(Emboar) vs Jaroda LEAGUE battle!
But it looks at least like a decent battle just as the Waruvile vs Dragonite! It can't get worse than the last ep!

Preview.
- Ash commands Krokorok.
- Krokorok uses Stone Edge.
- Dragonite dodges.
- Iris commands Dragonite.
- Dragonite uses Ice Beam and freezes Krokorok.
- Ash commands Krokorok/Pignite.
- Pignite jumps away from Serperior and then turns to face Serperior.
- Serperior uses Leer.
- Pignite dodges.
- Iris gets angry.
- Krokorok bites down on Dragonite's tail whilst Dragonite is in the air.
- Dragonite tries to throw him away.
- Pignite uses Flame Charge.
- Serperior keeps dodging.
- Ash gets annoyed.
- Trip gives a smirk.
- Serperior uses Solarbeam.
- Pignite is in the air and is about to get hit.

Why did they spoil the result of the Iris vs Ash battle in the preview - but then cut back to Iris? Are people not supposed to figure out that showing Pignite vs Serperior means Ash won?

If you're going to spoil something, why not the evolution?

Well now I'm annoyed that I know Ash is going to lose with his Fire-type which he is using against Trip's Grass-type. Though Ash has won like that plenty of times like that before so I guess I'm just a hypocrite :P

Because you need to pay for magazine to get your spoilers, you silly dog.

I'm only annoyed at Pignite vs Serperior because it adds one more onto the list of its rivals. First Pikachu kept on getting nailed by it, then Snivy started hating it. Adding one more name to the count will just dissappoint us now when only one gets to beat him in the league. I just remember that this baby has Frenzy Plant, and Pignite doesn't have much. Still, I'd rather see Snivy battle it.

So, Ash won because Krok evolved.
And Ash will probably lose to Trip, because Trip is the underdog.

Iris seems to command Kairyu to use Ice beam and it does after in the WTJC debut, it was said he didn't want to attack with super-effective moves. Seems like it's gonna get resolved here like magic. Expected....

Glad Pikachu isn't being used in the final round. Though id rather Unfezant than Pignite. Be a much better pick IMO. Could dodge leer, solar beam and frenzy plant easy enough, then aerial ace Serperior to death. Oh well
