Well i don't think that Team Plasma would have abandoned their whole, controlling Pokemon thing. Though I don't see Team Plasma showing up here, so, maybe it's another episode, but I doubt that as well.
Though I don't really care for Charizard(if it's Ash's in this episode) having Dragon Tail or not, I just can't wait to see a Charizard battling again, whether it's Ash's or not.
Also, with a Distribution of Dragonite coming out a week after this episode and it having the moves Safeguard and Wing Attack, does anyone think that Dragonite might get a new move?
Wow, so dead, I expected this place to be blowing up and lively with all the new info we got. I only see a few new post though.
The Distro Kairyu has Safeguard, Thunder Punch, Wing Attack, and Dragon Rush.
I personally prefer Flamethrower and Ice Beam over Wing Attack, but Wing Attack gives it a Flying-type move but still the animation is meh to me. Safeguard could be cool if it has a connection to team Plasma, like using Safeguard helps keep Kairyu and other Pokemon from being mind-controlled. It seems as though Iris and Satoshi won't be battling, Kairyu, controlled by TP, will be facing off against Lizardon who has an awesome new Dragon-type move in Dragon Tail. I'm really excited, I'm guessing once Kairyu regains control these two become the best of friends.I don't mind Lizardon with Dragon Tail, it's an underused Dragon-type move. I guess Kairyu got rid of Flamethrower because Lizardon has it too? Either way this is just awesome, imo. I really love both those Dragons. XD The fact Lizardon is helping out Kairyu in his time of need is fantastic.
Again, I wouldn't mind Safeguard if it has a purpose and gives Kairyu a defensive move to work and it's connected to the story and Iris uses its defensive capabilities to the max.

Huh, Dragonite is being controlled by Team Plasma. I like where this is going. Also good to see that people finally got their evidence this is ash's, as if it wasn't obvious from the beginning. Can't wait for the ep!

Man, am I glad we finally have proof that its Ash's Charizard, you have no idea how many people were arguing over thatXD I thought it was clear right from the start that it was his, I can't wait to see that big guy return and it looks like will be having flashacks too ^
Actually, I'm kind of excited for the entire episode what with Kanto Pokemon and all.
Ash fan. Multi Ash shipper =]

Same here buddy, I was getting annoyed with everyone thinking this was not Ash's Charizard it could not have been but come on it was totally obvious a little bit to me.

Trip's Serperior used that attack quite often during the WTJC and the Unova League. We also saw two Druddigon use that move. So Dragon Tail isn't that underused.
Not necessarily. Remember that the event pokemon based on Ash's Scraggy has Low Kick, a move that Ash's Scraggy has yet to use. The only thing "special" about this Dragonite is the Multiscale ability, which, again, has not been confirmed for Iris's Dragonite.I guess Kairyu got rid of Flamethrower because Lizardon has it too?
Whether Iris's Dragonite learns any new moves or not isn't known yet.
Battling on the defensive isn't Iris's Dragonite's fighting style, so it is very unlikely that it will learn Safeguard or other defensive moves in the anime.Again, I wouldn't mind Safeguard if it has a purpose and gives Kairyu a defensive move to work and it's connected to the story and Iris uses its defensive capabilities to the max.

Needless to say, the site says it is Ash's Charizard :P
Aw hell yeah, rivalry from the beginning. I can't wait to see this episode, the 2 great Pokemon of Gen 1 duking it out.
