They're flashbacks of Charizard's episodes though. They're not based on Misty or Brock. It's probably scenes of eps like Snow Way Out.

Anyway, I have a question to ask. How do we know Misty's TPCI VA? She never appeared past season 9! (Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon's NOT proof!)

I'm pretty sure it'll be Michele Knotz. (Unless TPCi wants to change back to Rachael Lillis, who they did use WAY back in season 11 as Maylene).

I understand that. But let's say they give Misty and Brock any screen time at all, that's how I'd want their flashbacks to be played.

Someone needs to do damage control on bulbagarden's twitter and other places, we had these same flashbacks back in BF and Misty was shown then too. This is nothing new.

Misty!!:D Yay for Brock too. Don't care if they're just flashbacks. Im beyond excited to see them here regardless, because honestly, I really didn't expect to see them at all, flashbacks, references..anything (mainly Misty because I know Dawn mentioned Brock). That they'll be speaking in the flashbacks tells me Ash will probably talk about them. "I wonder how they're doing.." or something like that would be cool. Again, im okay if this is all we get, I love those characters and it will be cool to see them here. Even if its just a flashback that doesn't even focus on them.

Yes this has happened before, but it doesn't happen often. Especially in Misty's case.

Misty is brought up at least once every generation even if she doesn't show up. I don't understand how this is any different than the Misty lure in DP or her flashbacks in BF.

And Brock already had two flashbacks when Dawn mentioned him too.

It's a flashback, not an academy award. They have had references for certain characters all the time. Besides, you can always rewatch the episodes and find this same flashback in there.

But seriously, what I'm worried about is this match. It will be funny if Charizar loses and it will be even more funny if Dragonite loses. They are both pokemon that I can't stand so I hope the battle is short and to the point.

Im well aware Misty had a reference in DP, that was over 5 years ago. I wouldn't say it "happens all the time." In Misty's case especially (again, I know Dawn mentioned Brock twice and he had a flashback.)

She gets a reference each region. She got one in Sinnoh even though it was a lure but she got them before as well. I don't know what people are complaining about.

Koga's VA is listed too only because they're showing clips of the Koga Gym match. See how silly this flashback stuff is and how people are making a big deal out of nothing?

If Blaine talks too are people going to say, "Look its Blaine yelling at Magmar to battle Charizard from Kanto?"

The whole flashback sequence probably won't be more than a minute. I can't believe how something so minor got blown out of proportion.

Random thoughts:

1. I find so freaking random simply call charizard back from Oak's ranch. Nothing really elaborated, but, that's Pokemon for you, I guess;
2. Well, if Ash could access his "hometown Box" all this time, why do send his Unova rooster directly to Juniper's instead Oak's? Or is charizard returning possible only because "there's a Kanto PC with direct link to Kanto transfer system" reason?
3. If charizard is at Oak's (for some reason that I'll wait for the episode to know), there's hope for squirtle, primeape and gliscor, after all.

Oh, Brock and Misty? Meh.

I think that I may be vaguely close to the mark with a post I made a while back,

I hope that if Charizard does return that they find a way to get Ash to meet him at the Driftveil Drawbridge, having all of the Charicific Valley Charizard doing a group visit there for a different reason and Ash going to meet it would be a far more reasonable thing than having it somehow fly all the way there on its own because Ash called for it.

The storyline with N could take place anywhere, but there's some call for travelling down back to Nuvema Town, firstly because Ash usually returns to the town he started in at the end of the region, but also because of the P2 Laboratory if they choose to use that, which would mean going back via Driftveil would make sense.

Misty's last and final appearance in an episode was AG134, "A real Cleffa Hanger" that took place literally right before the Battle Frontier arc started. She appears one more time in the Mastermind special but that was it.

So basically Misty hasn't physically appeared in an episode since 2005, aside from the special. And if all that happens here are flashbacks, this doesn't count, they showed Misty in Kanto flashbacks in Battle Frontier too for that matter. Its actually been over 7 years and three generations since she had an episode.
