Hello Writer's Workshop!

I hope you all had a great holiday season and will have a wonderful New Year's as well! This time of year also means another fantastic annual event is about to take place: The Writer's Workshop Winter Awards for 2013!

The nomination period will begin on January 6th and will go for two weeks to give everyone enough time to read and write! Any story or character from a story updated since September will be eligible to be nominated if this helps you think of what you would like to nominate.

If you would like to assist with the judging, then please make sure you contact one of the moderators as soon as possible so that you can get involved!

Excellent! Looking forward to reading all the nominees! Awards season is always a pleasure: I think it brings out a lot of the best things about the Writer's Workshop. Make sure you read up so you know who to nominate! Don't let your favourite writer get overlooked!

I look forward to award season--we get so much great work to read every time! (but it doesn't make choosing a winner any easier)

I'm excited to see what the community has to offer this go-round.

So, the winter award season started... well good luck to everyone participating. I haven't been very active lately, but I'm hoping to get myself together for the next awards.
