Fin's Pachirisu and Darren's remark :XD2: as for Alison and Darren I'd like more battles!
Wow I feel like I didn't excel at all people haven't pointed out anything else xD actually I'm kind of glad that the Pachirisu scene was such a hit I was going for more comedy in this chapter.
I sorta like these little episodic chapters. What I enjoy more is how you branch out with your characters. In Book one, all of the characters sorta revolved around Reggie. But now they interact without the main character around, it gives a sense of realism and makes the characters seem more imporatant rather than a supporting cast.
Yeah Reggie's mad for not getting as much attention xD
I like that someone likes the episodic chapters so much I'm sure most of everyone else has already wondered what plot it has hopefully I can make the second story arc good enough.
Hey Stellar Haze,
Just wanted to let you know that I've been reading for the judging and this is awesome! I love how Reggie and especially the others have and are developing since the last story, and your ability to describe things like Darren's surprise when he didn't get Pikachu. I like the comedic aspect of your waiting as well.
Anyways, keep it up. One of the better fics around.
Ok, I've been meaning to post this for a while. Ireally liked this ch. a lot. Reading the first ch., you've done an exceptional job. I haven't read the first series, I'm just starting with this one.
Nice characterization early on. While I didn't get a huge feel for RegGANG you did a nice job of giving a nicely veiled impression of what types they are. Reggie certainly does blush quite a bit for a guy, that's a nice quirk. Darren's badboy mentality and persona is interesting, I expected a jerky antagonist type but you did fantastic with giving more layers to his character he shows he's caring, that makes him feel more human. I'm glad Stacey isn't a pretty pretty perfect type. She's had a rough past and she's doing her best with everyone and is nervous, you've made her relatable. Giving her flaws, personality, and nicely written backstory makes her truly a character I can root for.
Nice personality for Chigon, makes it feel like a character in the same vein as humans then a tool for battling. The idea of a fakemon did repel me but, you've done well by it :]
Nice pacing, description, and start. Looking toward to seeing the established plot :] Episodic and the idea of a Pokemon Academy drew my interest. Onward to CH. 2 :p
I'm glad you liked it xD hopefully you'll like the rest as well and thanks for the review.
I Liked this chapter quite a bit!
I'm really glad your letting the other characters have more of the spot light and get more development.
It was very well written, and your put the right things in the right places.
Specially the Pachirisu bit, That made me LOL seriously.
Their are still a few grammar and spelling errors but nothing so major that it takes away for the story.
Actually they are very minuscule errors.
Your seriously improving you writing, not that you weren't good before your just getting even better!
I'm really starting to like Darren a lot.
and Allison while she be start being more a permanent character?
I could definitely see her forcing her way into the gang!
I really like her, she's a good contrast to the more mature female characters, with her being bratty and impulsive while the other girls are more mature and put together.
Looking forward to the next chapter.
Well I wanted to have a character that was immature and impulsive but I realized that if I used a guy it would be too cliched, so I figured why not use a girl that was like that. Oddly enough now there's a higher number of girls in Reggie's group xD
Fin's the only player there xD
Nah Darren thinks relationships are useless an unimportant he doesn't pay a lot of attention to it which is why he didn't know why Stacy felt so awkward while he was healing her head wound and why Fin and Jack were surprised of the fact that he could actually have a girlfriend.

So here's the new chapter and the start of the next arc. This arc will be a bit more action centered and won't actually take place in the academy but outside as part of a field trip so...
Enjoy! (and remember to R and R)
Chapter 9: Mistralton: The First Stop
A large airplane flew above the seas of Unova, breaking through the wind and drowning out the noise of the cities below. The plane had the large letters EA dominant on it’s left side.
“Wow, look at all those flying types! Swanna, Mandibuzz, this is really great stuff,” Valerie beamed, not wasting a second before she took her camera out and began taking photos of every Pokémon she saw. “I’m so glad we’re going on this field trip. This is going to be so awesome!” she cheered. She was wearing a blue tank top which was covered by an open beige short sleeved jacket; she was also wearing a white miniskirt.
“…yeah…” came a loud groan from Reggie as he held his left hand close to his mouth so as to try to stop anything from coming out. “I hate planes just as much as I hate ships,” he whined.
“Air sick? Seriously?” Valerie rolled her eyes. “Can’t you be like Chigon? He’s not complaining about the plane up there.” She looked up at the luggage cabinet where a slight whine could be heard. “Granted, he’s so busy complaining about being in the luggage cabinet in the first place that it’s no wonder.”
“I couldn’t let him out, they don’t allow it and he doesn’t want to enter a Pokéball,” Reggie replied. He was wearing a pair of sunglasses on top of his head along with a white jacket similar to Valerie’s, he was wearing a red short sleeved shirt under it which contrasted with his blue jeans.
“And of course you couldn’t leave him behind. It wouldn’t be fun without the little guy, after all.” Reggie gasped as Fin’s arm draped around him from the seats behind. “I knew you’d scream easily,” he chuckled before withdrawing his arm. “You might be sick, but I can’t wait. Castelia City, we just couldn’t have a better place as a field trip,” he rejoiced as he leaned on his chair and looked up at the roof with a pleased smile on his face. “City life is the best, and the beaches are awesome, especially with all the girls in swimsuits.”
“Selfish pretty boy attitude, I see.” Claudia, who was sitting next to Fin, lacked the slightest movement as she did so. “I don’t really like beaches, though,” she replied with a slight blush of embarrassment on her face.
“Come on Claudia, I’m sure you look good in a swimsuit,” Fin encouraged, though the phrase just made Claudia fluster even more. “This is going to be hard for the Newspaper Club though. I mean, you have to keep track of everything so that you can put it in the paper.”
“Yeah, we’re going to be working hard,” Valerie pumped her fist in confidence before turning around to shoot more pictures.
“What I like the most is the fact that we’re going to stop by Mistralton first,” Fin beamed with confidence. “Spending a day there is good enough for me to meet Skyla. One of the hottest gymleaders in history and I’m going to be in the same city,” a smirk flash on his face before he peeked through the side of Reggie’s chair. “And you’re coming with me to meet her, I helped you get a peek at the girls when we went to the hot spring so you help me here.”
“What peek?” Valerie asked.
“Damn spoiled child.” Fortunately, Reggie was saved by Jack’s mumbling as he walked by their seats which attracted the attention of the others.
“What’s with you?” Reggie asked immediately; trying to get away from the other subject that would’ve ended up in embarrassment for him.
“That idiot, Kevin Samuels. Only the teachers are allowed to be in first class but that son of a gun is there anyway, but when I try to get in they wouldn’t allow me. It’s unfair I tell you; I’ve got money too,” Jack frowned with disdain. Reggie just sighed, even though Jack was really mature if a little bit competitive he was also really snobby at times when things didn’t go his way.
“Don’t be so mean to him,” Valerie rolled her eyes. “Kevin didn’t do anything wrong. If they allowed him to be on first class, then it would be dumb if he hadn’t taken it.”
“He’s the one that said that he wanted to “see the other side of the fence,” according to the article you guys did. Well, I don’t think he’ll see much by sitting in first class and laughing at us,” Jack pointed out. “Besides, it’s just annoying.”
“Hey, not all teachers get to be in first class either, so stop whining and sit down.” Jack turned around, only to come face to face with Stacy; who was in turn scowling at him. “I wanted to sit comfortably and relax in first class too…but instead I got stuck watching over you guys, so can it. Go sit down in your spot.”
“Okay…” Jack raised an eyebrow at her, though he still did as told and went back to his seat.
“I wished this was easier,” Stacy sighed before turning around and walking towards the front of the room. “Well, I guess it’s worth it as long as I get to spend some time in Castelia City.”
About an hour later the plan landed safely in Mistralton’s International Airport, to the side of which the Gym was attached. “We’re finally here, huh?” Miko smiled as she walked behind the others. They had to get in line so that they could get out of the plane.
“Yeah. Soon I’ll be able to meet Skyla,” Fin grinned slyly before looking over at Reggie, who was walking calmly and without any worries. “Hey Reggie? Aren’t you forgetting someone?”
“Hmmm…?” Reggie raised an eyebrow, looking at Fin as if he was crazy. However, he suddenly gasped and charged back to his seat, knocking people over as he sprinted in dismay.
“Reggie, what’s going on!?” Stacy scurried over to where Reggie was, only to see him desperately opening the luggage cabinet and taking out an unconscious Chigon. “I knew there was something odd…” Stacy narrowed her eyes.
“He he heh...,” Reggie chuckled nervously before shaking Chigon. “Sorry buddy…”
“….chi…gon…” Chigon replied dizzily.
After getting permission from the teachers to take Chigon with him even though he had hidden him in the luggage cabinet, Reggie proceeded to follow the others into the airport where they were going to pick their luggage. “Well, it’s nice that they let him stay,” Miko smiled, she was sitting on top of her own rolling luggage while she waited for the others to come back.
“Yeah, I thought we were in trouble after Stacy got mad at me for it,” Reggie sighed in relief; he had all of his luggage surrounding him, with Chigon curiously sniffing for food. “I just hope everything turns out okay. This is our first field trip out of the archipelago and to such a city like Castelia…the fact that we stopped at Mistralton first just makes it better,” he smiled.
Before he could say anything more Fin pulled him from behind, grabbing ahold of his arm and turning him around. “All right Reggie, let’s go!” Fin exclaimed as he patted Reggie’s shoulder.
“Where are you going?” Miko wondered with a raised eyebrow and a frown on her face, she knew that Fin just wanted to drag Reggie around; something that usually ended with them in a lot of trouble.
“To Mistralton Gym, of course. We’re going to see Skyla, after all,” Fin beamed with confidence, something that just made Reggie feel even more uncomfortable.
“But wait, we can’t just leave. And what’s gonna happen to the luggage?” Reggie asked in a desperate attempt to get Fin to let him go.
“Don’t worry Miko’ll take care of it,” Fin nodded his head before he started walking along with a still unpleased Reggie. “Look at the bright side, we’ll get to meet Skyla.”
Reggie sighed in defeat; knowing that there was no reasoning with Fin. He then turned to Chigon and commanded him to follow. “Take care of the luggage, Miko.”
“Sure,” Miko waved, her eyebrow was still raised at the sight of the retreating figure from the two trainers.
“Stop giving me that look Fin, you’re creeping me out!” Reggie screamed.
After a few minutes of walking through the airport, as well as a trolley car, Fin and Reggie were now approaching the hanger-like Gym which stood by the edge of Mistralton. Fin couldn’t help but be amazed as he saw the large runway that went across the gym. It also had a battle field in the center of it with what seemed to be a pair of large fans beneath the arena.
“It’s amazing isn’t it. Unova gyms really are the best,” Fin grinned to himself as he stared at the gym with expectation. “Hey Reggie what ar…oh my god not again!” he screamed as he saw Reggie leaning against the corner of the trolley; holding his hand in front of his mouth. “Car sick? Seriously?”
“Fuck off…” Reggie groaned while holding his hand forward. “You’re the one who took me hostage.” His voice was now coming in a hoarse croaking, as if he was trying to push something back.
“I didn’t take you hostage, you wanted to come here…deep, deep down inside,” Fin shrugged with disinterest.
The trolley finally came to a halt in front of a large glass gate with a Pokéball on the center, which was apparently the entrance to the gym. “Here we are. Be careful getting off…and try not to puke,” the driver glared at Reggie; who had already run off towards a patch of grass so that he could get rid of the weight in his stomach.
“You’re so weak.” Fin narrowed his eyes in disbelief, turning to look at the gate instead.
“Okay, I’m done.” Reggie walked back towards Fin, though he was now wiping his mouth of anything that might’ve been left. “So do we just go in?”
“Of course…” Fin breathed in as if trying to prepare himself. He then stepped forward, causing the gates to open once his foot stepped closer to them. “Excuse me we came to see Sky…uh…”
Reggie and Fin gasped. They were standing at the entrance of a large dark room whose only illumination was from a small hole in the wall.
The remainder of the gym was a mess. There were multiple gadgets destroyed on the floor, covering most of it in rubble. “What happened here?” Reggie wondered as he slowly walked into the field, he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. After hearing that the Mistralton Gym was one of the hardest gyms in Unova it was hard for him to accept that there was someone terrifying enough to wreck it like they did. “Who could’ve don…” Reggie looked down at the floor, noticing a blue colored butterfly shaped pin on the floor. “Hey Fin, isn’t this Skyla’s?”
Fin walked closer to Reggie; turning away from the rubble to inspect the pin. He clenched it slightly, feeling rage building up inside him at the smalls drops of blood that were on the pin. “Just what happened here?” he looked around the room once more. Suddenly a small pile of rubble began to move slightly, sending a few pieces rolling to the floor. “There’s someone buried over there!” Fin called before he ran over; with Reggie and Chigon closely behind him.
After digging what was under the rubble Reggie and Fin came into view with a tall man around his mid-twenties. He was covered in dust and his long sleeved blue sweater had been torn by the rocks. He had dirty brown hair which was made even dirtier by the dust, and a pair of black eyes. “Thank you so much.” The man spoke weakly, as if he could pass out at any second.
“What happened here? What happened to Skyla!” Fin yelled, holding the man by the collar of his shirt.
“Fin, calm down. He looks really tired and beat up.” Reggie patted Fin’s shoulder slowly so as to get him to calm down. He turned to the man, flashing a more understanding look. “What happened in this place, sir?”
“Gym challengers…no, they were different, there were around two people, both of them dressed in black armor or something like that,” the man groaned to try and stay awake. “Skyla was battling against one of them when suddenly the other one jumped in, the two of them attacked together and before I knew it they had taken Skyla with them and the whole gym had been destroyed. “I don’t know where they took her, though.”
“Damn it.” Fin helped the man out of the rubble. He seemed to be really distressed over what he had just heard; though Reggie couldn’t tell why, sure it was bad that she had been captured, but he was acting as if the world had just ended. “We have to try and find those guys.”
“Maybe we can!” Reggie called out, taking out a Pokéball that was hanging from his belt. “Pidgeotto has great eyesight; if we show him the pin he might find the other one while looking through the forest.”
“I don’t think your Pidgeotto can search through a large landscape covered with trees,” Fin narrowed his eyes.
“We don’t have only Pidgeotto,” Reggie smiled before looking down at Chigon; who nodded its head in anticipation. “I brought something just in case a situation like this presented itself.
Suddenly, Reggie pulled out a crystal-like stone from the pouch strapped to his waist. “Chigon’s special, remember? With this stone, the Crystal as I call it, I can unleash Chigon’s true potential,” he grinned as he turned to Fin then Chigon. “Chigon, time for you to evolve, buddy.”
Reggie threw the Crystal into the air; signaling for Chigon to jump up and touch it with its nose. A powerful light covered Chigon’s body, as the familiar light of evolution began to take place.
Where Chigon was once standing was now a bigger, four-legged dragon around the size of a human teenager. It had red armor that covered the top of its body and head, with a long snout. The bottom of its body was completely white, aside from the diamond mark on the center of its chest. It also had a long red and white tail and a pair of long orange wings.
The dragon roared loudly, causing the rest of the gym to shake. “What…what kind of Pokémon is that?” the man asked in bewilderment.
“That’s Alagon, Chigon’s fire and flying evolution,” Reggie smiled before he ran over to Alagon and jumped onto its back; releasing Pidgeotto from the constraints of the pokeball. “Pidgeotto, take a look at this.” The Pidgeotto nodded its head in return, looking at the butterfly shaped pin with great curiosity. “Your job is to search around for the other pin through the forest. Think you can do that?”
“Pidgeo,” Pidgeotto scoffed with an air of confidence before it started to fly out.
“Let’s go Fin. Alagon will only be able to stay in this form for ten minutes and I don’t wanna fall from the sky while we’re looking,” Reggie replied before Alagon spread its closed wings and flew off into the sky after Pidgeotto.
“Don’t treat me as the slowpoke you idiot,” Fin snickered before throwing a Pokéball from his belt, releasing his Dragonair. “Let’s go. We have to save Skyla!” Fin exclaimed before the Dragonair jetted off after Reggie; leaving the man alone inside of the gym.
Reggie and Fin had been flying through the air for almost ten minutes now, trying to fly as fast as possiblewhile searching as best they could. However, Alagon was already starting to show signs of fatigue and neither Pidgeotto’s nor Dragonair’s visions were had been fruitful.
“Maybe we should give up and tell someone. We might do better that way don’t you think?” Reggie pointed out as he turned to Fin and Dragonair; who were flying just a few more meters ahead of them.
“We can’t give up,” Fin shook his head, not batting an eyelid at Reggie. “Skyla could be hurt as we speak. We have to catch them no matter what.”
“Why are you so desperate though?” Reggie inquired. “I mean you’ve never been this set on doing something and the way you’re acting is completely different to your usual demeanor…” Fin didn’t reply before his ears tensed up.
“Over there!” he yelled, pointing downwards into the center of the forest. Reggie was about to ask how he could even spot the pin from below before noticing something else.
While it was faint he could see three figures from down below into the forest and while he wasn’t able to pinpoint Skyla he was sure about that the other two figures were the perpetrators. “The guy said that they were wearing black armor… maybe that really is them,” Reggie beamed at the fact that they had found a lead. “We have to plan how to approach the situation, though.”
Fin didn’t respond. Suddenly he shot off towards the forest, causing Reggie to gasp before seeing Dragonair fire an orange beam down towards the spot where the three figures were. “Fin, what the hell are you doing!?” Reggie screamed in disbelief.
However, before the beam could collide with its target a large blue barrier appeared in front of the area, blocking the attack and causing Fin to fly back along with Dragonair. “Now they know we’re here, and we know they know too.”
“Fin, you knuckle he…” Reggie stopped, looking down at a panting Alagon in disbelief. “Please Alagon, not now of all times!” he begged, but to no avail because as soon as he said this Alagon’s body began to glow once more; except that this time it shrunk rather than enlarging.
“Reggie!” Fin yelled as he saw Reggie and Chigon fall towards the ground, with Pidgeotto desperately trying to catch them.
However, before he could reach them a Swoobat dove out from the trees, getting a hold of Chigon; leaving Pidgeotto with only Reggie to catch. “Seems like we’ve got a great catch,” one of the guys said as the Swoobat landed on the ground and dropped Chigon onto the floor. The man was wearing body fitting black armor with a pair of pointy black shoulder pads and arm guards as well as jet black knee pads. The man also wore a visor to hide his eyes, which was somewhat obscured by his long black hair. The other man was covered in completely black armor like the first one, except he lacked the spikes on the shoulder pads and he also had a helmet that covered his head.
“Chigon!” Reggie exclaimed, he had been lowered onto the ground by Pidgeotto and was standing just a few meters away from the two men. “You’re the ones…” he looked past the two man, realizing an unconscious Skyla resting against a tree. “Give back Chigon now, and why did you take Skyla!?”
“Guess we’ve got a couple of heroes here, huh?” the man grinned mischievously before looking at Reggie. He then shifted towards the sky to come face to face with Fin and Dragonair. “You know, we’ve got two hostages now. I’d come down here if I were you!” he announced.”
Fin just gritted his teeth but nevertheless complied with his requests and lowered himself along with Dragonair. “Just who are you two?” Fin growled.
“I guess I should tell you,” the man snickered.
“Wait boss, I don’t think we shoul…”
“Shut up, you’re only supposed to follow orders,” the man commanded before putting his attention back on the two young Trainers. “I am the great Schwarz, and I’m a general of the Black Knights.” The man, now known as Schwarz, stated with an air of authority and confidence. “And this is…well, his name doesn’t matter; he’s just a grunt,” Schwarz shrugged.
“Do I look like I give a damn about who you are!?” Fin exclaimed as he glared at Schwarz and the Grunt. “Release her and give Chigon back to us.”
“Chigon huh?” Schwarz grinned as he looked at the unconscious dragon. “Grunt, I’m going to go ahead. You take care of these kids.”
“But sir?” the Grunt turned around to look at Schwarz, who was lifting Skyla up before grabbing a Pokéball attached to his belt.
“Use Swoobat and Conkledurr for all I care. Just make sure they don’t catch me.” As he said this he threw the Pokéball into the sky, releasing an Archeops who let out an ear piercing shriek before Schwarz jumped onto its back; Chigon and Skyla with him as well.
“Wait, get back here!” Fin started running towards the Archeops, only for a large Conkledurr to appear and swing a large concrete block at him. Fin gritted his teeth before he dove out of the way, managing to pass underneath the block and roll on the floor.
“It’s no use. If we want to save them we have to beat him first,” Reggie gulped as he looked at the Grunt; whose demeanor had changed a lot now that he had two Pokémon of his own. “If we want to pass then we should take care of this guy.”
“Reggie, I’ll take care of the Grunt guy, you go and save Skyla and Chigon,” Fin commanded before throwing a second Pokéball from his belt. He was now standing in between his Floatzel and Dragonair, his right arm outstretched and a grin on his face. “I won’t be long.”
“Swoobat, use Air Cutter!” the Grunt commanded, signaling for his Swoobat to fire a powerful burst of wind towards both Reggie and Fin. Before the wind could collide, Dragonair stood in front of the others and managed to deflect it with a powerful Twister attack. The swirling effect of the Twister absorbed the Air Cutter and sent it whirling back towards the Grunt, twice as deadly.
“Pidgeotto, let’s go!” Reggie screamed. Pidgeotto swooped down and grabbed him by the collar, then lifted him up and started after Archeops.
“Floatzel, go for an Aqua Jet. Dragonair, use another Twister on Floatzel!” Fin’s Dragonair chimed loudly before firing a powerful tornado of wind. Floatzel, who had now surrounded itself with water, fired off into the tornado, spinning it in the opposite direction and allowing the wind to increase the power of its attack.
“Wake up Slap!” Conkledurr threw its enormous body forward. It drew its two large hands back and proceeded to slam them onto Floatzel, breaking through both the layer of wind and water and slapping both of its hands against Floatzel’s face.
The Pokémon let out a shattering scream of pain before being thrown back by a powerful Mach Punch from the Fighting type. “You sure like to play dirty, but two can play at that game.”
“Not unless I stop you. Supersonic!” the Swoobat opened its mouth slowly before it started to fire sonic waves through its mouth, causing Fin to cover his ears. Unfortunately, neither Floatzel nor Dragonair had a way to defend themselves from the sound waves and began to wobble around to try and regain their composure. “Now, Conkledurr, finish them o…”
The ground below the two trainers started to rumbling, deafening the Grunt’s command. “What’s this?” he questioned, noticing that the sounds were becoming louder.
“Just a little thing I like to call kicking your ass,” Fin smirked. Then from the ground came a large Garchomp, who ripped through the dirt and stones before slamming its right fin against Conkledurr’s chest and slashed upwards, creating a large gash of blood on its chest.
“Wait, but how!?” the Grunt quivered.
“When Reggie was talking to you guys and I was in the air, I took my chance to throw a Pokéball onto the ground,” Fin stated. “I had my Garchomp wait for the right moment under the ground until I ordered for it to attack. Like I said, kicking your ass,” Fin smiled innocently as he patted the Garchomp; who opened its mouth to reveal the Pokéball that it had hidden inside. “I told you I’d play dirty.” Then the look in his eyes changed to a more menacing one before he looked at the Grunt.
“Swoobat, use Air Slash directly at him!” the Swoobat quickly shot towards Fin, its wings drawn back and its fangs sticking out.
“…die…” Fin muttered and suddenly Garchomp was upon the Swoobat, slamming it against the floor. Fin winced at the resulting crack.
“I would rather have not done that, but you’ve been testing my patience.”
The Grunt tried to turn back, but just as he was about to flee, he was thrown onto the floor by a barrage of bubbles, which seemed to have come from Floatzel. “What do you want!?” the Grunt screamed, his voice beginning to break.
“…” Fin simply beamed before seizing the Grunt by the neck.
Reggie and Pidgeotto raced through the skies, with Reggie trying to cover his eyes so that the wind wouldn’t bother them. “I can see them,” Reggie pointed out, noticing that Schwarz’s Archeops was coming into view.
“Well, you sure are fast for a kid aren’t you?” Schwarz grinned slyly before raising his hand. “It ends here, though. Archeops use Thunderbolt!” he commanded, causing his Archeops to fire a powerful jolt of electricity down at Reggie and Pidgeotto.
“Dodge, then Gust!” Reggie threw his hand forward before he was thrown around along with Pidgeotto; avoiding the lightning by a few inches. Pidgeotto spread its wings and snapped them back forward, sending a gust of wind towards the two Pokémon.
Schwarz grabbed a hold of both Skyla and Chigon before bracing himself, allowing the wind to course through his Pokémon and throw them farther above. “Nice trick.” Schwarz braced himself once more before Archeops dived towards Reggie and Pidgeotto, its wings out along with its feathers.
“Out of the way!” Reggie exclaimed, barely avoiding another attack. However, one of the flying type’s feathers rubbed against Reggie’s arm as it passed, cutting it slightly sending electricity coursing through his arm. “Ah,” Reggie groaned, he was already starting to lose the feeling in his arm, not even being able to move it.
“Archeops feathers are electrically charged. Meaning that I don’t actually have to hit you; I just have to touch you.” Schwarz Archeops screeched once more before it dove down towards Reggie and Pidgeotto one more time.
“Too slow!” before Pidgeotto was able to avoid the strike a small shockwave shot out from Archeop’s feathers. The shockwave hit Pidgeotto square in the chest, causing the Pokémon to stiffen and plummet towards the ground. “He’s paralyzed and you’re dead. That’s what you get for trying to mess with me, kid.”
“Pidgeotto!” Reggie threw his right hand forward in an attempt to try and grab ahold of Pidgeotto. They were getting closer to the ground with every second and even if he managed to reach Pidgeotto, it was still paralyzed. “You have to move if we want to save them, both Chigon and Skyla!”
“Pid…” Pidgeotto muttered weakly before its eyelids open as wide as possible. “Geot!” Pidgeotto screeched into the sky, its body beginning to turn into a large sphere of light.
“Yes…” Reggie muttered and just as soon as he did a large blur shot out from the light and dove towards him, allowing him to land onto its back.
“Well, that was awfully convenient,” Schwarz rolled his eyes. And less than a few seconds later he was facing Reggie straight on; who was now standing aboard his newly evolved Pidgeot. “You may have speed, but that doesn’t give you victory.”
“I don’t need to win!” Reggie’s Pidgeot screeched once more before vanishing from sight. Schwarz look around in a desperate attempt to try and see the Pidgeot as it passed, however, no matter where he looked he wasn’t able to pinpoint its location.
Suddenly, Reggie and Pidgeot reappeared from above Schwarz and Archeops before Pidgeot slammed its wing against the Flying Pokémon.
“Thunderbolt!” Schwarz commanded immediately, not noticing that Chigon and Skyla had now fallen off from Archeop’s back.
“No!” Reggie screamed in pain, feeling the electricity course through him. He grabbed on to Pidgeot’s mane before pulling on it; getting the Pokémon to dive down once more. “We gotta get them,” Reggie muttered softly. However, as he got closer to Skyla and Chigon so did Schwarz who was now stretching his arms out towards the two.
To be Continued…
End of Chapter 9
Next Time: Ice Cream and Fireworks
And that is it, it's a bit long now that I think about it but I hope that you guys like it as well as the new character and plotline that was introduced.
