The pacing is a little wobbly here and there, but in general this has a well thought out and multi-pronged plot that really captivates. Kanto is beautifully painted in this fic, with plenty of variety while staying true to the region that captured my five year old heart. holy shit i've been playing pokemon for almost fifteen years wtf
The last arc fixed almost every problem I had with this. The characters are ALL quite deep, from the protagonists to the antagonists to the supporting characters and everything in between. The personalities are consistent and believable, even when they make me want to slap the character upside the head (especially then).
I'm a big fan of over the top eloquent description, which this fic (and many others) lack, but that doesn't mean too much. This story has a great and memorable style.
You went and fixed everything I ever found wrong with this fic in the last arc, so I really have to search to find things to crack down on. Here's hoping you keep it up.
