Why did PBR Downgrade?
Why the heck did they downgrade pokemon battle revolution and made it worse!? I mean seriously that game for one needed a story, the character creation needed to be more in depth too... and lastly.... THEY DOWNGRADED HORRIBLY IN ANIMATION!! I MEAN LOOK AT THIS CLIP OF WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE:
Pokémon Battle Revolution Japanese Debut Trailer - YouTube
Any ideas as to why they didn't follow through with their original idea because it would've been so much better that way...

Re: Why did PBR Downgrade?
I mean they had like 3 more GBs in their actual release so they had plenty of data to fill... =o

Re: Why did PBR Downgrade?
1. It was rushed to come out early on in the Wii's lifespan. Nintendo wanted it to be a rushed cash in, as they knew people would buy it.
2. Rumors also said it was toned down for ratings boards (same ones who said slots are evil but minesweeper is ok).

I'll put my bet on time constraints. Even w/o a story mode, it could have been so much better. I'm willing to bet that destructible environments wasn't even considered until late into development.
