Thread: What was your team the first time you ever beat the E4?

Red

Blastoise, Nidoqueen, Raichu, Articuno, Arbok, and Arcanine

Yikes...the fact this was 13 years ago is depressing: my Red version warriors!

I don't remember the sixth Pokémon, though I know I used Aerodactyl quite a bit later on. I used this same lineup with Mew added until Silver was released, though.

Addendum: If you didn't go through the E4 as a 10-year-old with Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, and a maxed-out Dragonite, YOU HAVEN'T LIVED.

I'm not exactly sure about the rest of my pokemon, but back when I was a kid I was a firm believer of "only train your starter and no other pokemon" so I beat the Johto elite 4 with a very over leveled Typhlosion

Yellow version, cannot recall the exact team, since I entered HOF so many times... But I know it included a dual-screens pikachu and a Dewgong with Payday / Ice beam / Strength / Surf (the traded Cezanne).

In Red version

Level 80 Blastoise
Level 50 legendary birds

That's all I can remember.

I actually never beat them until Silver and I cloned the crap out of Ho-Oh, I had 5 of them and an egg. I don't remember what the egg was put its picture went up with the birds. It was pretty funny.

The first time I ever beat the Elite 4 was in, embarrassingly enough, Pearl because I was afraid of Victory Road for some reason but I overcame my fear eventually:

It took me multiple tries to beat the E4 and Lance. For nostalgia's sake, my HG team was almost a carbon copy, except Lugia was swapped out for Arcanine.

When I was a child, I think I´ve never beaten the Elite 4 in Blue (but I think that in my team was surely Venusaur, very probably Kadabra and maybe Pidgeot).

When I came back to Pokémon, it was Sapphire and Sceptile, Kyogre, Roselia, Absol, Linoone and Gardevoir.

I can't remember my whole Blue team but it definitely included Blastoise, Alakazam, Pidgeot and Snorlax. The other two may have been Raichu and Magmar.

In Ruby... Blaziken, Swellow, Cradily, Breloom, Walrein, and I don't remember the last one. :D
