Anyways, R/S. It was the first I got, and after I played, I was hooked!

G/S/C was the best, simply because the game had so much play time in it.

I've liked every pokemon game I've played, but out of the spin-off games, Ranger was the greatest!

I agree with Blurrz; Gold, Silver, and Crystal were the best by far. ^_^ I really liked PMD, but I wish they would change some things. Like enable you to do things other than just shop and save in the town. and let you fight your friends, battle against alakazam and his team in the dojo, add more places to explore, customize your house, stuff like that.

I would also have to say G/S/C. They were just really good games :D

Pokemon Crystal to me. You wanna know why? Because if it wasn't by that game would have probably stopped playing pokemon games forever.
When I thought I was unbeatable and had everything done I was almost going to give up but then I noticed the battle tower (wihch I initially had ignored) and started to lose there. After understanding how they battled and with which moves I decided to test my pokes and try a lot of moves and as time went by I had days, weeks, mouths of fun with this nice addition. I would still go to battle tower today in crystal if my game cartbridge hadn't got messed up...
That's why Crystal is the best game to me.

I'm probably the only one who's going to say this, but... Diamond and Pearl. R/B/Y didn't have that much stuff although it did have horrible graphics, G/S/C delete themselves all the time, R/S/E/FR/LG were awesome but could've had more stuff... overall, I just think D/P's the best. 3D graphics, 493 Pokemon, wi-fi... there's all sorts of awesome things in it that previous gens just didn't have.

G/S/C for sure. But out of them, gold was my favourite.

I reckon yellow came next though. I still can't beat that game.

Diamond and Pearl and probably Gold (was the first one I ever played). I did not like Sapphire (the only one besides Pearl I have), but I did play Emerald and found that better as it had more features that Ruby/Sapphire did

I don't really like ruby/Sappire >.< they're kinda lame.
