I think it would be cool. But they do have to use pokémon of every generation, not just I and IV or something (like they did to pokemon melee)

I loved Pokemon Snap, and a sequel would be awesome.
Hopefully it would be a lot longer and contain most if not all current Pokemon. The original only had 63 of the at-the-time 151 Pokemon, lol.

Pokemon Snap was one of the few games I never got the privelege to play unfortunately, though the premise looks great. Only thing is, there has been 3 generations worth of Pokemon released and unveiled, meaning either the game will be rather massive or there would be a lot of areas to hold them all. Still, I wouldn't complain at that.
That would be great. Maybe it could be released for ds also because you could use the stylus to draw around a pokemon to snap the photo.

YES WE NEED THIS<3<3<3<3<3
We keep getting rangers and mystery dungeons, which I'm sick of. The only spinoffs we have that aren't are Battrio and Scramble, the former being only in Japan. Aside from that, this game was amazing and I would be happy as long as they make it.
Even though the first one is already on the vitrual console, it wouldn't hurt to make a sequel on the Wii or on the DS?

@ mudkipturtwig:
Actually, I like your idea better than using the Wii. It would be easy to make a really good game like that on the DS. Although, they could always use the DSi and make it like this:

No. The game was not fun the first time around, and it won't be the second time.
I also found it funny that people wanted a sequel to channel just because the wii had a wii-mote. >_>
It is a good idea indeed to include Pokemon Snap on the DS, as it could open up and whole new world of connectivity with other games. Perhaps exclusive legendary Pokemon to take photographs of depending on your version? I was going to say it'd be great if the game allowed you exclusive Pokemon depending on the GBA cartridge you have in the slot, but the DSi doesn't have a slot for those games so that idea's in the toilet.
Different versions could work too like each gen having it's own pokemon snap.
With each generation having their own Pokemon Snap though, wouldn't that mean they'd be released as seperate games or would there be another way to go about it? I'm all for different versions released as different games but if there was to be one for every generation, that's 3 games right there. I know people that even now would buy all 3, just as I'd aim to buy both versions of HG/SS. That's a lot of money when you think each game retails at about 30/40 pounds here in the UK. It's a good idea but it depends on how the fans would take it. Still, if you want it, you pay for it. That's the way it goes.
I LOVED Pokemon Snap. I remember spending entire days playing this with my friends when I was younger.
I would definitely buy Pokemon Snap 2 if they made it. It was amazingly fun and interesting. It's easy to get obsessed with taking the perfect photos.
I never played Pokemon Snap, to be honest.....
We definitely need this. In fact...
