    Default Touch screen question

    Hi,

Are heartgold/soulsilver the only pokemon games that can use A button on the touchscreen? Like in the bottom right corner.
I only got heartgold so far.

Thanks for a reply or answer!

Default Advice on catching Snorlax just outside Celadon City in FireRed? o.O

I saved right in front of him and so far my team is this:

Pidgeotto lv: 32 Moves: Wing Attack, Aerial Ace, Gust, Quick Attack

Raichu lv: 33 Moves: Thunderbolt, Thundershock, Slam, Quick Attack

Nidoking lv: 33 Moves: Horn Attack, Shock Wave, Double Kick, Cut

Arcanine lv: 33 Moves: Flame Wheel, Ember, Take Down, Bite

Dragonair lv: 33 Moves: Dragon Rage, Twister, Thunder Wave, Slam

Wartotle lv: 33 Moves: Water Pulse, Water Gun, Bite, Rapid Spin

I also have Great Balls and a Nest Ball. Any advice to catch it will be greatly appreciated. ^-^

Double Kick, man. Double Kick. Snorlax is weak to fighting type moves. Then mow it down further with moves that'll only do a little damage. If it uses Rest, and it's still asleep by the time you take a good chunk of its HP off, there's a big opportunity to catch it right there.

Or, you could also use Dragonair's Thunder Wave to paralyze it. That'll also increase your chances of a successful capture. I also recommend Ultra Balls instead of Great Balls, if you're able to get them.

This is all I can think of, though.

No prob. Depending on how far in the game you are though, you should be able to buy some Ultra Balls. I also believe you can buy them at the Celadon Department Store.

Hi peeps here is my question I caught a Shiny Deerling on Route 6 some time back ago and usually like my Pokémon to have the best Nature I just wanted to know if a Modest Nature Deerling is any good because I'm thinking about using it on my team.

Well, Deerling and Sawsbuck are much better physical attackers and learn pretty few Special attacks so it's kinda the worst possible nature you could have gotten to be honest. But natures never really matter too much in-game, so it should be fine anyway.

I just beat Ericka and Giovanni in the Game Corner Basement, and then got the Poke Flute. I can check the Derpt Store and see if they Ultra Balls, they didn't the last time I was there. Hopefully they do >.<

Use strong moves until it looks like the thing has about 50 hp. Your moves should be strong enough that you can get it down to that many hp in 2 turns, in case it uses rest.
Once you're down to around that many hp use dragon-rage. If it looks like there's too much hp use a weak move like twister. Paralyzing it will help if you think you can do it before it rests. Spam great balls until it uses rest or you catch it. If it rests, start over again.
You should save before you try to catch it just in case something goes wrong.

Can someone tell me about unlocking Challenge Mode for BW2? I would really like for someone to go into like the advanced details of it.

I'm a full time Pokemon Breeder! But please visit, I really do appreciate the help.

Basically, after you beat the Champion in B2 you will unlock Challenge Mode. This allows you to restart the game with a higher difficulty (trainers will have higher leveled Pokemon and whatnot). But you can also send the mode to a friend so he can play Challenge Mode right from the start, or you can receive it from a friend who has it so you can play it right from the start.

Easy Mode is unlocked and can be used the same way in W2 with the exception that it makes the game easier, as the name implies.

Can we keep all B2W2 questions to the B2W2 SQSA thread here: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f650/simple-questions-simple-answers-thread-130604/

There's a reason that the games have their own subforum, so keep all future questions there, please.
