Thread: pokemon mystery dungeon. what pokemon should be starters/partners?

what pokemon should you be able to start with?

i say: (s/p= i want them as pickable starters and partners)

cubone should come back starter and partner
sandshrew s/p
trapinch s/p
spheal s/p
ralts s/p
is mareep one? if not then it needs to be
and a few more that i'll post later

pidgey its simple and evoles twice thus a perfect starter.

I would like Croagunk as a starter for a mischievous personality, though I doubt it would happen.

Hmm...a Pachirisu would be cool as a hero and partner. And maybe Growlithe, too. Roselia and Oddish, as well!

For Gen V too? I would murder them if they didnt put in Zorua.

If they have one for Generation V, they would definitely put in the Unova starters. Along with that, I want Zorua, the three monkeys, Sandile, Vanipeti, Kibago, and maybe Chillarmy.

Zorua is a clear fit, and Vanipeti and Kibago seem to fit in as well. What I'd love to see next the most though are Diglett, Staryu, Mogurew, and Blitzle. Though the last two are least likely, it would be cool to see them.

Zulugg, Sandile, Dokkora, Mogurew, Yorterri and obviously the gen V starters would be cool for the next gen of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
As for older Pokemon, I think Buneary, Buizel, Trapinch, Ralts, Mareep, Growlithe or Bidoof (just to be mean to anyone who got it in the personality test) would be nice starter choices.
And I still hope for Riolu, Vulpix, Shinx and Phanpy from Sky, and Pikachu, Meowth and Eevee from the first games to make a return this generation.

Obviously not all of them, though. We'd run out of natures. :P

All of these would be perfect. Of course the actual B/W starters will be playable, but with the rest, there might be a good chance. :3

All 15 starters, Pikachu, Tyrogue, Elekid, Magby, Eevee, Mareep, Swinub, Ralts, Trapinch, Starly, Shinx, Riolu, Yorterry, Sandile, Zorua, Vanipeti, Kibago. That would be perfect. It would include Grass, Poison, Fire, Water, Electric, Fighting, Normal, Ground, Ice, Psychic, Flying, Dark, and Dragon-types for the first playthrough. It would additionally have the Steel-type for the evolutions, 14 out of the 17 types, a nice spread.

I wouldn't mind some Pokemon like Shimama and Zorua, but overall, there's a huge selection of starters already and I wouldn't want too many unless a few didn't come back for a sequel.

Zorua for sure, and maybe the grass, fire, and water monkeys.

21. Munchlax - Lax
22. Kibago - Hasty
23. Sandile - Quirky
24. Shinx - Relaxed
25. Vulpix - Impish

Cubone and Psyduck should come back man. ~A~

Also, take out Skitty and replace with Jigglypuff and Cleafairy maybe... Or Smoochum and Magby could be a nice addition. Since Elekid is a choice in Light Adventures.

I want Eevee as a starter for both males and females.

Also, I hate that "male or female only" choice. Make all the starters accessible to either gender.
