I love topics like this. Well, there's the one everybody knows, (see sig), and there's the mew glitch, glitch city, standing on a tree. a ton of others, the best place to learn about pokemon glitches, is http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/www.trsrockin.com. if this doesn't work, just copy and paste it into the address bar.

I can't remember any of the glitches I've seen on the older games because it's been so long since I played any of them. But I do know of one that happened to me in FireRed.
I had had the game for about 6 months, and for some strange reason, all the attack animations disappeared. They didn't come back until about 4 months later. I don't think I did anything that might have caused it. Has anything like that ever happened to anybody else? It was really kind of strange.

Not even my final form
I remember one from G/S/C with cloning pokemon by putting it in some box and then like saving or something but I forget how that really went.

I think that was actually something to do with trading. You trade your Pokemon to someone, and then both shut your games off while it says "Saving... Do Not Turn Off The Power". When you turn them back on, you should both have the same Pokemon.

I know how to clone. I have six Moltres in my Silver version.
First you get a Pokemon out of the box. Save. Then you put it into the box. Then you change boxes. When it says "Saving...don't turn of the power." Turn it off as soon as 'Power' appears. When you turn it back on, your Pokemon will be in your party and in your box. ^^
You can also attach an item to the Pokemon you are cloning. (like a Masterball)
I only did this in Silver, but I'm pretty sure it works in Red, Blue and Gold.
THE WAY TO CLONE IN CRYSTAL IS DIFFERENT. Don't use this in Crystal!

I know, I cloned pokemon in Crystal and now I have an army of clones :P
Honestly, you can clone items too, so I cloned Master Ball and TMs.

DOES IT VIA COPY/PASTE
mr. ketchum, i think you might have actually TURNED OFF your battle animations. this is done in the options menu by toggling the "Battle Scene" option.

That could be, Metal_Gear_Scizor , but as far as I know, I've never changed the Battle Scene settings, on any of my games. They just came back on one time after I restarted the game.
By the way, I'm actually a girl. A lot of people get confused by my name. My real name's Steph. I chose my username because Ash is my favorite character.
