Thread: Old Chateau or Lavender Town, Which theme is creepier?

Both are quite creepy, but I'd go with Lavender Town's theme.

Lavender town because i read creepypasta and the music made it very hard for me to sleep >.<
Before i read creepypasta, i was like what is wrong with it

Neither are overly creepy, but I vote for Lavender Town. And I haven't read much of the creepypasta. Not only is it creepy and eerie, the high-pitched noises also hurt my ears. In contrast, I find Old Chateau quite relaxing.

Neither one is particularly creepy, Lavender Town has that definite "not quite right" feel to it (but because it's so high pitched).

To me, Old Chateau sounds like a level for the Ghost Mansion of a Super Mario game.

I´d go with the Old Chatteu, Lavender Town is great but I wouldn´t say that creepy.

I'd have to go with Lavender Town, just because of my experiences in the Town when I was a kid. I was pretty freaked out and always ended up flying place to place so I didn't have to pass through Lavender Town. But Old Chateau is still a creepy place.

Lavender Town.

Since reading about the Lavender Town Music rumor it's always gave me the chills listening to it.

Old Chateau's theme is more theatrically scary. Dramatic and pushed too hard, to me. It sounds exactly like how I would picture a 'scary haunted mansion' to sound: Rather regal with off-key notes. And 'ghosty screechy notes'.

Lavender town, on the other hand, doesn't have that expected theatrical scary sound. It leaves me going "Well. That's unsettling." So I have to go with Lavender Town.

I honestly think the Old Chateau theme is creepier, I always mute the game when I enter the Old Chateau because of the music.

The Lavender Town theme for me. Deadly or not, the low quality gameboy music add the extra paralysing buzz to it. What's more the dead Marowak sprite gives me the creeps.

As a kid, I was freaked out by Lavender Town, especially Pokemon Tower. Gastly and Haunter's art from Gen I is just...creepy. Gave me nightmares, swear to God.

The Old Chateau scared the CRAP out of me when I was younger. Couldn't even go in there.

Come on, Lavender and its crepypasta (which is actually real) can't be compared to Old Chateau!
When it comes to creepness, Gen 1's the king!

Honestly, they're both equally creepy in my opinion. But none of them can beat N's room theme from Black 2. Seriously, just listen to it.
