    thundershock
    thunderwave

I'm sorry to suggest, but it looks like you need to go grab a Water or Rock poke so you can defeat Charmander :) That's my only suggestion.

I say that, because to your current team Fire is very hazardous. Ivysaur is 2x weak to Fire, Paras is 4x weak to Fire. Water types are handy anyways :)

EDIT: And by the way, I read the "I will not catch anymore Pokemon" sentence very well. :)

Level up Magikarp to L:20. It then evolves into Gyarados.

Otherwise.. Paras learns Leech Life at 19.

Meh, My Bulby beat Gary's whole team (it was an Ivisoar back then)
I just used .... whaddya call it... parlize spoore...no... Stun Spore, thats it! I used stunspore followed with tackel.
Remember, stumspore also slows down an oponent and slightly lowers their deffence.

Yeah, but you can teach it Surf at a much earlier level? Id choose that over Hydro Pump anyway. But up to you.

It may not be a high-enough level yet then. Try catching a Spearow, or an Ekans (I'm not sure if Ekans is exclusive or not actually - if it is, just go for Spearow)

    Bfff...

Did you play Red/Blue/Yellow in your childhood? (No offense)

    I still remember xD

From Lavender, go East. Go down the bridge, yeah, the brige with a Snorlax, which is full of Fishermen.

At the end of the bridge, there is a house. There is the Fisher Guru, who'll give you the Super Rod.

Keep going, and you'll arrive to Fuchsia.
