Thread: Generation 3

Almost forgot, Gen 3 had (in my opinion) the best legendary pokemon. Argue all you want, but the weather trio kicked so much ass they had to buy a special shoe polish to get the butt smell out.

My favorite was Sinnoh but Hoenn was pretty cool too.

I liked the:

-Tropical setting
-Legendaries and other Pokemon (Especially Torchic and Mightyena)
-Two clashing evil organizations

I like Gen 3. I like its graphics style, and the music is nice, and the legendaries are pretty cool, and the geography of Hoenn is pretty awesome.

I'm trying to start a Ruby game, but DAMNIT I CAN'T FIND A RALTS. DAMMIT WALLY YOU GOT THE ONLY ONE.

Yeah, I kind of like that too. When I first got the games I thought Magma/Aqua were kind of lame, but I really do like how there's two evil teams and they're at war with each other moreso than you and in Ruby/Sapphire you actually kinda help out the other team. Very unique plot/gameplay element they haven't really used since.

So true. And when I eventually find one (heck, even Surskit is easier it seems), it has always got a crappy nature or something. And I have to have Gardevoir on a Ruby-team.

That aside, generation III was okay. Not bad, but not great either. I can sit back and play Ruby or FireRed, but perhaps not in the same way I play Platinum or HeartGold.

Gen III had the best legandaries. The Weather Trio and Deoxys are the most awesome Pokemon I've seen.

I liked it, I guess. I mainly use Emerald as my cloning slave. Plus Gen 3 brought lots of cool Pokemon (Salamence, Gardevoir, Milotic, Absol, Lati@s, etc.) and had great legends.

I'm pretty indifferent towards it...thus "it's ok..."

Hoenn is my favorite region it has the best batch of pokemon, best environments, and a good plot.

Gen III was my second favorite generation! I really enjoyed the plotline, the new Pokémon, and the Battle Frontier.

I think that Hoenn is the best region ever and you can catch Rayquaza on Sapphier and Ruby after beating the elite four.Also i like the Regis they know superpower and the storylines great.

Honestly I still have never finished it. IDK why that is either since what ive played of it I love it

Pokemon Emerald is my favourite Pokemon game so far. Hopefully Black and White will be even better.
