I can see why some people would want a re-remake but personally I just don't think it is needed.

Wouldn't mind a remake and i'd buy it, but I don't think it should happen this gen. Too many fans (Not me, but others) are sick of Kanto right now and I can understand why. Its been seen in EVERY gen since the beginning. It should be given a break for Gen 5 and 6, then come back in 7. Wouldn't mind a remake of Yellow, but i'd also eventually like to see a completly new story in Kanto. BW is set after the Johto/Sinnoh games (Like 7 years after). I wouldn't mind seeing a new protaganist starting his journey around the time of BW, in Kanto. This would be like 10 years after Red's time. A lot must have changed since then.

Meh, I might get it, if it includes 3 regions. But the game would be short, I want ALOT more gameplay after you beat the Elite Four.

So yeah, I'd expect this to be set in a different time. I wouldn't mind if it was set in between GenI/III and GenII/IV, so that means we could see Cinnabar Volcono erupting, the Pokemon Tower being turned into a Radio Tower, Blue becoming eighth gym leader, Koga leaving his gym to his daughter, and we could have a more in-depth Sevii Islands, and perhaps add in a few more islands, and expand Isle 8 and 9, so that we'd have about 12 islands.
If there are any remakes,I wouldnt argue. But I dont exactly want one as their are other things that they could do.
...
Please no more remake of RGBY. It is simply unnecessary.
this could be possible, as ruby and sapphire were not, in general, as popular as the other games.
If they did remake these games, I'd like them to be on 3DS, with all 649 Pokémon, or however many there are at that point, obtainable with just those two games (with trading of course). However, I don't see it happening just yet. Maybe in a future generation, but not this one. Of course, that's not to say that I'm not completely wrong.

Seeing as the DS has yet to go completely obsolete, players can still port Pokemon from Gen III's Kanto all the way through Unova, so there's really no reason to re-remake RGBY, at least not within the next 2-3 years.
The only Gen. I haven't ever played is Gen. III, so I'm hoping for an RS remake instead of FRLG remake.
I claimed Ice Punch,Thorton, and Skill Link!
Pokemon White Team: Samurrot, Stoutland, Zekrom, Darmanitan, Throh, Tyranitar/Excadrill
I love Kanto, the original Pokemon, and the original gym leaders. I've probably played FRLG the most out of any of the Pokemon games (and only then because RBY is to painful to return to, mechanics-wise). Gen IV, I think, drastically changed everything about Pokemon with the long-awaited physical/special split. After that, I don't think I can really go back to the Gen III games, as much as I love FRLG. For this alone, I'd like a remake of FRLG.
However, the problem with FRLG is that it was too slavish to the original. I don't mind a reimagination. I don't mind seeing a few non-Kanto Pokemon, and I'd definitely want a story expansion. Call it a special edition or a reimagining or whatnot for the sake of traditionalists, and that way we can have our cake and eat it too. FRLG was a fairly faithful remake, but something along the lines of HG/SS (or even more imaginative) would be better. Expanded features, esp. post-E4 gameplay would be great. Having to take on challengers as League champion? Yes please. There are a lot of things they could do.
I mean, really, all they'd need to do is think of new features the same way they would with any subsequent game, and just implement them in the remake.
I like Red and Leaf. I like Blue. They're my favorite protagonists and rival by far. That's what would keep me to a remake, but I fully understand people being annoyed at playing the same game over and over again, which is why I welcome some storyline changes and/or overhauls. If it weren't for those characters I enjoyed, I would be fine with a game set in Kanto years later too. I mean, that was one of the coolest parts of GSC--seeing a familiar environment changed. Sadly, that would probably mean we couldn't play as the same protagonists. The player lacks a personality, so I suppose a Pokemon game with a character generation system could come up with the same outfits as Leaf and Red (provided they abandoned sprites, I guess) but we'd still lose the awesomeness that is Blue.

Princess of Hoenn id peperit.
GameFreak should stop remaking shit. Nostalgia is overrated.
