Thread: FIrst Pokemon you ever raised to LEvel 100?

... legitimately or through cheats? In Blue, I did have several 100 level pokemon thanks to the rare candy/item cheat. Thank you Missing No.! The first one I belive was Starmie.

Legitimately was my Empoleon because of E4 runs. I skipped gen 3 and never really cared about it execpt for emerald. I think my Septile will get that honor of being the first 100 on that gen.

My Charizard in Red, but raising to Level 100 is a pain and I almost have never bothered to do it again after playing Red.

The Dewgong, Cezanne, that I traded a level 34 Growlithe for in my Yellow.
Then came the Feraligatr I started with in my Gold (deleted due to dead save battery)
Then came those six Pokémon in my Ruby/Colosseum files (Umbreon, Espeon, Hariyama, Plusle all from Colosseum; Swampert and Skarmory from Ruby (yes I started with a Mudkip in my Ruby)) all at level 100 when that data also got deleted.
Then along came my Pearl. The first Level 100 in my Pearl is Pikachu; Espeon came second. Then came the Arcanine and Latias I got from my friend Moses (they were at or near 100 when I got them) and an EV-trained Choice Specs Starmie that I currently own and wish to trade to a competitive battler (on YouTube) for an extra Gamestop Deoxys of theirs.

My Clefable on Pokemon Blue.

The closest I ever got was my Typhlosion who is now at level 76.

I guess I was just too lazy to raise my Poke`mon to very high levels when I was a kid.

My Crobat in Pearl. I caught it as a level 4 Zubat in Oreburgh Gate. I've never got any others to lv. 100 legitimately, although I did use the Missingno glitch one time in Blue and got several of my Pokemon to lv. 100 with duplicated Rare Candies.

Pokemon Gold. It was an Eevee, which I trained daily and gave all of my time on Pokemon too. After I raised it to the substantial level of 30 (from level 5), I then decided to think about evolution. However, I liked having an eevee too much, and decided not to evolve it. A few days later (I like training), It finally grew to level 100, before my Cyndaquil, which I raised secondly.

I'm not sure lazy is the right word here. Sensible? Rational?

Is getting to level 100 just a matter of grinding or are there specific bosses that have high xp yields?

Probably either my first Charizard or Mewtwo.

My Blaziken in Emerald version. First time I ever got above 80 or so.

Feraligatr in Silver. The Persian in Crystal.

Typhlosion in Gold

A Swellow named "Tsubasa" from my Emerald game, which I had moved over to Pearl after I got access to Pal Park. It's the Pokémon that fronts my party when I chain for shiny Pokémon, so it gradually ended up being leveled all the way to 100.
