I have six Umbreon, Scizor, Linoone, Ninjask, Shedinja and

i have a
shiny crobat that i evolved from a golbat a freind gave me
shiny spinda called jade
shiny tentacruel called green that (i think) evolved from a tentacool
shiny dustox called gold that used to be a cascoon
all 3rd gen

i also caught a shiny wurmple which i gave my sister and she evolved it into a buetifly

she saw a shiny girafarig in the safari zone .... it fled (she was SOOOOOOO anoyed)

and i almost caught a shiny zigzagoon but i got a critical hit and it died -_-

I have 28 hours on my LeafGreenm and a shiny Magnemite ( I just found it today)Its cool because I beat the game already (well, just the elite four,lol)

Ok to start with time is not an issue to catching Shiny Pokemon. There is only a tiny chance that you will come across a shiny for a start. Secondly locations vary, you many not find a shiny in the same place as someone else. Its really just luck as to whether you come across one or not. I myself have only ever come across one, on my Leafgreen verison. And I have since played through it again several times as well as many times of Firered, Sapphire and Emerald and never seen one since. It really is just chance.

me again, a few minutes ago i got a shiny volbeat which makes my total 9.
(espeon, venomoth, crobat, linoone, mightyena, bellossom, gyarados, banette, and now a volbeat.)

I got a Shiny Wobuffet and a shiny pikachu that's about it.
