Damn, I still haven't been able to get a shiny Pokemon using the Pokeradar.. actually I gave up on that long ago. But it still would be nice to get a shiny Pokemon in a Generation 3 and/or 4 game. It seems getting/encountering shiny Pokemon in Generation 2 games, however, isn't as hard as the other two with me owning a shiny Rhydon in Crystal, and once having a shiny Nidoking in Gold.

I forgot to say this but recently, i restarted my LG and FR, I found a shiny rattata and a shiny slowpoke, i evolved the rattata but i am not sure what i should evolve my slowpoke into, Slowbro or slowking. Any advise? Also when i started my Pearl version and i was going to the 7th gym, i was training my Rapidash on the Snover around there and then all of a sudden, a shiny female popped up, i captured it and evolved it.
Well, short of cloning the Slowpoke and then having both shiny Slowbro and Slowking... Shiny Bro is purple, shiny King is Pink. Pics on serebii.net, for reference, so choose which one you prefer.
And if you intend to use them for battles (competitive), well, they are basically the same as each other, only their stats for Defense and Sp. Defense switch over (SloKing has high Sp. Defence). Depending on Ntaures and IV's, you can use that to influence your choice... if you care about the such, that is.
I have a shiny Garchomp that I found as a Gible when I was looking for good Gibles to breed. It has a Jolly nature and 31 speed IVs, but all of its other stats are meh. However, I use it on my Sand Stream team with Swords Dance and it still works great. I also have a shiny Adamant Huntail that I found on Emerald as a Clamperl when I was looking for a Relicanth to open the Regi caves. I only had Master Balls (cloned them with the glitch), so I lobbed one at it, saw it was Adamant. I haven't used it yet, but I could fit it into a UU Rain team. Its IVs aren't all that bad.
I took my bro's shiny Ferow.
