I didn't use it at all.
It was due to the fact that I didn't know anyone who had FR/LG.

It was cool for a couple minutes, then it was lame. No extra function that particularly grabbed my attention.
I played LeafGreen only in a... DS, so guess. xD
Me verás volar por la ciudad de la furia...
What happens in Ferris Wheel... stays in Ferris Wheel.
I used it back when I played Fire-Red and those types of games but haven't used it ever since then. Poor left behind memories.
I got my LeafGreen from Gamestop, and it not have the adapter. I really wonder how it is like.
I have dodged many things, but that is not why I am a dodger. I just like wearing striped shirts.
I never got it because the FR LG games I own are from online, and it didn't come in a package.
"you will be a n00b at RPGs."
"...I don't play RPGs...!"
Yes i am use the wireless adopter, this is so effective for me there are so many advantage i can get for this adopter like there are no any problem will create the wire problem.
I used it all the time when trading between FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald, it sure was a lot simpler to use than the old link cables. The adapters problem was that it wasn't available from the outset of the system's launch and not all games supported it.
I Have it but never used because I never found anyone with a Wireless Adapter...
I'm pretty sure I did use it and traded with my brother but I think we didn't end up using it a whole lot because we ended up not playing the gen 1 remakes a whole lot.
Since I got Emerald and FireRed way before Ruby and Sapphire, yes, I used the Wireless Adapter. I didn't get an Advance Link cable until I purchased Ruby about 1½ years later, at which point I discovered that the wireless adapter didn't work for Ruby and I had to get a cable in order to trade between my games. It should be noted that today, when playing my Gen III games, I mostly uses the cable (out of laziness) and only uses the wireless on rare occasions.
