The fact it took him about 7 years is the laugh riot. Lol.

I think it was a single-day score. He just spent 7 years practicing.

I gave up on that game long ago because it was too hard.

Am I missing something? A score of 300,000,000 is a record? I just dug my old Pinball out and I've to a score of over one billion on the red table (1,491,413,9450). Hell, I got 30,000,000 without even trying. On the blue table, I've got a high score of 2,320,817,200, and the rest of my high scores on that table are over one billion. And, as a rule, I suck at video games.

I didn't think 300,000,000 was a huge score, either. He probably was the only person to go to Guinness and say, "omg lookz what i did lol."

You have to have two independent Guinness inspectors with you when you attempt to break a record. Clearly, he felt he could do well, got them in and did it.

It says that all video game records have to be monitored by an organization called Twin Galaxies, at least all computer games. http://www.twingalaxies.com should have more information, and it says that you can still submit claims.

I'm just wondering what the fastest time to complete a dex in all the gens is. Now *that* would be an accomplishment.

9:12 wouldn't even be close to the record, apparently.

Is there a record for longest played save file? I have 770+ hours clocked up on Emerald. But that's just because I've had the save for over a year and regularly forget to turn it off. XP

I don't think they can judge those because the timer stops at a certain time. Besides, someone could cheat and leave the game on all the time.
