its rather difficult to think how we could split them up. the Manga section is about the same, if not longer, than anime, but no one seems to want to split that off.
And of course several manga are based on the anime interpretations...
We would have a [[Brock]] page and a [[Brock (anime)]] page. Everything except the anime information goes on the main article.
Even Electric Tale? What about Yellow? I do wanna separate it, but... yeah. Brock and Misty are the only major game characters that aren't players or rivals that appear(ed) regularly in the anime.
They're as different as Barry and Barry. Barry's manga stuff is on the main Barry article. Yellow and Electric Tale are based on the anime, sure, and we can note that in the anime article, but have the information in the more general article.
This would end up weird, though, if we had Brock (anime) and plain Brock. Barry's difference is that... there's no manga information on him. His counterparts, Jun and Pearl, have their own pages. Brock and Misty... would not.
Regardless of what the manga are based off, you still could have [[Brock (manga)]] with a subsequent list of all the titles he's appeared in. You don't have to go splitting each manga counterpart into individual articles, since none are really too deviated from either his game or anime form.
Same for Misty.
[[Brock]] and [[Misty]] can be the disambigs (don't we know how much our users love those?). With likes leading to [[Brock/Misty (anime)]] and [[Brock/Misty (game]].

Simple Question: Should we be upgrading pages with Template:Mart to Template:Shop when possible?
Big claimin'
Cresselia (Pokémon)
Colette Brunel [Tales of Symphonia] and Yuri Lowell [Tales of Vesperia] (Video game characters)
Indeed we should.
does it have to be so blue?
This brings up another thing.
I think there should be a page illustrating how items are added to the Gen IV Poké Marts over time, because it's shared between all Poké Marts (give or take a couple of specialty balls).

Probably could go on the Poké Mart article.
I've been encouraged to pitch this idea. It's always been of interest to me all the things that happen during the development of a new set of games. The thing is, though, no site I know of has an easily accessible list of all of these events. You can find them on your own if you look hard enough, but it's not all in one place. Years ago, I made a list of all the events during the Diamond and Pearl development, both in Japan and for the English development. I recorded most of it as it was happening. I wonder if it would be useful to anyone else if all this info was in one place.
The waves of history swallow everything until we are all spat back out as flotsam, and then we are gone.

Hm? Events? What kinds? Game showoffing?
