For some reason the Ho-oh and Celebi pages use the G/S Sugimori art, rather than the Hg/Ss art. Is this intentional, or?

How do you get the IRC to work? Whenever I try to go on it, on IE it just says the page cannot be displayed, and on Firefox it says that it doesnt know how to open this address because the protocol isnt associated with any program.

Mine says "Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed"

IRC is a protocol separate to web browsing, and so you need a specialist programme for it, such as mIRC or XChat. There are add-ons for some browsers such as Firefox (ChatZilla) though.

Well where do we get it?

mIRC can be found here. It's shareware and nags you to register after 30 days, but you don't have to and it'll let you continue after a few seconds. X-Chat can be found here. I believe this is the free (don't worry, it's legally free and open source) version.

After installing and opening either one, type /server irc.systemnet.info into the command line and press enter. Afterward, type /join #bulbapedia to get into the bulbapedia chatroom.

Chatzilla can be found here, but I'm not sure if the server connection command is the same, since I've never used it. It probably is.

Any idea when we will be allowed to add trivia on Bulbapedia again? Lol, most of what I've done in the past has been anime trivia.

well, i would prefer people focused on fleshing out articles with information. and heck, a lot of people add info as trivia when its really something that would fit better in the articles themselves.

but to answer your question, i can say with full confidence that the trivia restriction will be removed very soon.

Could we have a weekly vote kind of thing, like picking which of the three pokemon is best or what battle item is most useful. Also, couldyou include a page comparing the shiny/normal sprites of all pokemon?

The former of those isn't particularly suited to a wiki, and is much more suited to forums. So much so, that there's already a whole forum dedicated to a subset those kind of polls, with others around the place.

For the latter, that would require a page with over 6,600 images, as the colours change between generations. So it's not really feasable. You'll probably have to do it one Pokemon at a time. Alternatively, go to the Archives and load up the categories for sprites from the game you want. Shiny in one tab and non-shiny in another, and switch between them.
