Looks like the section on Stat Stages is light on MD-specific content. In particular, while main series games can go from -6 to +6 in a stat from stat changes, MD and MD2 goes from -10 to +10. Furthermore, the changes in stats are also more spread out and more constrained: for instance, a +2 in attack will double it in the main series, but only raise it by 19/64 in MD2 (in fact, even +10 in attack will only raise it by 217/256, so you can't double a stat without dropping your opponent's stats...).

Furthermore, in MD the attacks and defenses are on separate scales (a -10 in attack cuts it in half, but -10 in defense cuts it to 7/256 of its original value).

Similarly, accuracy and evasiveness are on different scales...
