What I mean is:
Just for those who can recall the trainer's words but not anything else or who wanna use the speech for something they're doing.
It's possibly something we can do in the future (certainly, it's a part of the game and it's something we can document, so that fits right in with Bulbapedia's goals). But it's an absolutely massive project, and likely one that won't have an opportunity to be started until after the release of Black and White.

That is a cool idea. Like Jio said though, it's probably best left for after the B&W release, but I'm in favour of doing it.
i like it, but im not so sure its necessary.
If we did do it, we'd have to change POKEMON to Pokémon and all instances like that. That IS part of the Manual of Style, you know.
This would be an f'ing huge project. I might be able to work it into my Pokémon Trainer team template revamp...
If you do anything, just leave a bit of room in the template or something, attached to a on/off switch statement. I'd be hesitant to try anything prior to Black and White's English release, but that right there would be a perfect time to document trainer scripts, since so many of us are going to be playing through Black and White from the beginning anyway.
We can work out way backwards from there to the older games, but I'd say we start implementing the cool new ideas we want in Black and White (since that's the most important part right now, and it'll do nicely to have the most up-to-date styles on the areas people will be looking at the most). And retroactively add those bits of awesome to the rest of the site.
I was actually planning to do the big, template-breaking updates with Gen I first, since that'd cause the least disruption.
Collecting scripts even now would be fine by me.
Don't forget that trainers have a quote when you lose to them LTIC.
GameFAQs has a script compiled with all the info this would need for RB.
