Thread: Our standing on the leaked Pokémon name list

Hi, I noticed that the leaked list from earlier this month was sketchy when it appeared on the same day as some other confirmed ones on that list, but the next week after that, more of them were confirmed to be on that list. I just want to know our standing on if the list is true or not. (I personally think that Emolga was a typo)

I think the list is true, because that's a whole lot of unlikely coincidences otherwise. But I can understand why Bulbapedia wouldn't want to update with the info yet. Still, there's no discussion on this, and I think it needs to be discussed.

But with Excadrill, Alomomola, and others revealed, I think it'd be pretty darn hard for a faker to come up with all these intuitive names, immediately replace some of the fake names with those revealed the same day, think of intuitive names to go with them for their evolutions, and then release it the same day. (Yeah, Swoobat may not have required much thinking, but Excadrill...)

We can say they're unconfirmed, but it still is worthy of discussion.

Honestly I think at this point it really unlikely they are fake.

thats all well and good but the fact of the matter is we arent moving anything without official confirmation. case closed.
