Boss Fantasy or Boss Porn, that is the question.
I was referring to the other poster. I stepped away from my computer to do something before I posted that, and when I did, yours came up as well.
I just found this site and one of the first pages I viewed had porn ads. Not quite full nude, but very close. I should have grabbed a screen shot, but I navigated away from that page as quick as possible. These ads are not suitable for work, and definitely not appropriate for children. If you are not able to filter out the offensive ads, you should not have ads at all. There is really no excuse for putting porn ads on a children's web site.

You're right, but all you have to do is stay logged in and you won't see them.
Though perhaps, a warning on the front page or something that some of these ads may be inappropiate?

they are back again? or is that for when you aren't logged in? because the ads are shown when you aren't logged on. We've been attacked by these ads not too long ago. But still, those ads should be removed.

evkl said he was working on getting them filtered out. I'm sure if he or one of the other admins can't, they'll ditch them and do something different.
At least we've, for now, gotten rid of those constant porn spammers (oh, I'm sure they'll be back eventually...but for now we're fine). And, hey, at least the ads make the site money.
While we're on the subject of ads, was the spyware-carrying offender on Bulbapedia ever found?
Quite simply....they were not perfectly fine, in that they didn't pay the bills. If it's a choice between ads that can be annoying, but at least go away when you're logged in (and which will eventually be fully filtered, though this may take some time), and no Bulbagarden whatsoever due to the costs of handling all the traffic we have, which are you going to pick? Because that's honestly the situation we found ourselves in.

By perfectly fine, I meant non-distracting, but if they didn't pay much, then that's a problem. (Never knew that XD;)
In that case.. I could probably deal with annoying-er ads over Bulbasaur doing their business on the servers.
given the community at large i'd wager the pedia is visited by many, many users under the age of 13
So since the ads disappear when you are logged in. How do you get an account on bulbapedia at the moment? I sure as hell can't find out.
For what it's worth, I haven't seen an ad in BMGf since the banner ads were eliminated. Either I have phenomenally effective filters or other people don't have any filters at all.
When I was growing up, I was told never to trust anyone over 30. When I was 30, I realized I didn't know jack squat about the real world. Since then, I've been making up for lost time. Now I'm learning not to trust anyone under 30.
