"Purrloin: Sweet or Sneaky?" Review Thread

This episode had just too many plot holes. Firstly, when Mischa and Cilan fell into the swamp along with the rest of the team, why did Mischa tell Purrloin to run away? Purrloin could have at least helped to save the group, surely. Secondly, Ash's backpack was left by the entrance to the cave, which surely had all of his Poke Balls in it, but how did Ash still have the Snivy Poke Ball? And also, why didn't Ash tell Snivy to rescue the team when they first fell into the swamp, instead of waiting for everyone to drown in the mud?

He don't carry them in his backpack, at least not all of them.

Purrloin wouldn't have been able to help the group on his own, and Mischa didn't want him to wind up being dragged down into the quicksand in the effort. So she was basically telling him to cease and save himself.

Clearly Ash wanted the adrenaline of almost dying, kyu. He just overestimated Snivy's abilities and neary died.

And the CGI sand looked like rabbit turds, just sayin', kyu.

I thought that knowing the fact that Purrloin was a male all along would ruin the element of surprise and thus lessen the enjoyment of the episode, but it was the opposite...every time Meowth and Oshawott went gaga over him, I burst out laughing like a maniac and my sister (who did not know the ending) was just all "wtf" at me. She got it in the end though XDDD

Excellent episode, I think in terms of comedy, it definitely ranks highly. That purrloin seemed to know what it was doing though (meaning it had PRACTICE in the past, huuur)...which is even more awesome XD It gives me hope that perhaps maybe some pokemon have learned how to make attract work on same gender species :PPP
