Actully, Sceptile can't get it. Meganium can get it when you fully evolve the Chicarita you get from doing 100 battles at Mt.Battle on Pokemon XD.

Well, Sceptile learns Leaf Blade, so I guess it evens out.

EDIT: I wonder if they will allow Naetle and friends to get those MEGA ATTACKS in DP?

Hoi Jesus, am I the only one thinking PUSA snagged the series /just/ in time for the really decent, not-so-dull episodes to air? There's no way this is a coincidence.

XD Oh, and I SO spazzed when mother!lady who's name I missed flashbacked to her and Jeremy's younger days. Giovanni's missing twin, whut now. Though Nicholas, dear, you're probably of the 15-18 year old variety, WHY are you saying, "Daddy" like you were 6-10?

And...dude, judges, YOU NEED WORK. 8D I'm not watching another contest until you guys stop sounding like y'all braindead.

"Remarkable" dude sounds awful. Though considering he says one word 90% of time, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I agree.

Poor Mr. Sukizo has a really bad voice now.


And that's a shame, since I always thought that guy was hilarious, with his famous one liner, "Remarkable".


It doesn't seem as funny now when the new VA does it......

Did the sound give out for a few seconds for anyone else when Squirtle was making its appeal?

It did that here as well, Blackjack. That was really weird. o_o

And I must say, Sarah sounded much better.

Meh, I couldn't tell any difference really.

She just sounded the same to me. >_<


Although, generally, in "May's Egg-cellent Adventure", I could tell that Ash's new voice is still pretty bad in terms of emotion (it's still lacking! I can tell!). And that especially showed during the scene where Pikachu learned Volt Tackle.


Aww......

I would've given so much to hear Veronica's Ash voice in that scene. I felt that it really should've been there, since Pikachu just learned a new move and everything. ;_;



Anyway, as for the episode itself, well I thought "May's Egg-celent Adventure" was decent. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either.

I didn't like how Ash's voice didn't seem improved by much, if any. I hate it whenever he calls out an attack, because that's usually the main parts where Sarah doesn't show any emotion or anything. It's just not there. I feel nothing.

However, May's voice was good. And I thought Nicolette had a really great voice!!

You know what though, I bet if Nicolette's VA went down lower, she could probably do Ash's voice (and even imitate Veronica's Ash). It just sounds like she could do that, and much better than Sarah could, in my opinion.

I guess for me the highlight of this episode was Team Rocket. They were hilarious as always!! And of course, I really loved all the music in this episode!! ^_^



As for the next one, "Weekend Warrior", I thought it was pretty good, actually. I enjoyed this episode a lot more than the other one.

And thank god Ash didn't have very many lines in this episode. It just seems like every time he says something, it doesn't sound right at all. It just doesn't have that "Ash" feeling to it. But, again, this is just my opinon.

I liked Jeremy. He was cool!! And I liked how he had a guitar and everything. XD

I noticed that when he first appeared, the song they played was actually the one used in "The Bridge Bicycle Gang" episode from the first season! I think it was like, the gang's theme or something! That is so awesome how they used that song!!!!


And during the contest battle, I was very surprised to see Jeremy's Venusaur use Frenzy Plant. Awesome, I wasn't expecting to see that move. ^^


Oh, and I agree with Misty. I think May's VA DEFINITELY improved greatly with this episode! It sounds to me like she's really got May down. And that's great!

Now if only I could see Sarah drastically improve like that......

May's VA had a really good performance in both these episodes, she's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Too bad she's spending all this time to perfect May's voice for only one season. :/
