I know Ash is looking forward to going home or something but every time i watch the preview it seems like Ash just can't wait to leave Dawn and Brock.

Why do I get the feeling most of this episode is going to be about Piplup going nuts rather than the trio splitting?
Its almost as if the writers are saying, "No, we don't want to get rid of Piplup, he makes us money!"
I'll be honest, I thought the DP trio had the worst group dynamics of the shows history, but that being said I think Dawn and Brock are getting a good sendoff.
Sorry, but I had to quote this. xD You said that so often that little birds managed to make a song out of it. :P
And I disagree as well. DP trio was exactly as good or even better when it comes to the trios.
Essence of Life is currently on hiatus!

I just know I'll cry :/ I'm gonna miss you piplup.

I bet Dawn won't say what region she's heading to next, just that she'll continue her contest training.
I think the writers realized their mistake of saying May was going to Johto, because that misled people in believing we would see her adventure there, especially because of HGSS too.
With BW being a true reboot, I doubt Dawn will even appear in BW especially since there seems to be no contests, so this is Dawn's, "last hurrah."
And honestly, she's the third female of the show and the second coordinator, her departure doesn't need much fanfare. She was already wrapped up by the end of the GF anyway.
That's what I'm thinking too. They purposely didn't say where Zoey, and Kenny were going. So I doubt they'll tell us where Dawn is headed. I wouldn't be surprised to see her appear in B/W, and the same if she doesn't. I think the whole contest stories of Pokemon are done for now.
I know I'm going to love this episode... It looks like the type of episode that'll make people cry. Can't wait for the English dub! =_= Maybe it'll be as sad as the finale of Azumanga Daioh which I heard was quite depressing...
Ah Misty's departure made me sad....
Honestly, I thought this group was one of the best since the original group... And this series had the best movies out of all the other seasons... I adore Dawn and Piplup!
Hopefully, in the English dub, it'll keep the original score... Rather than use any other music they made...
Maybe I'll make a fandub of it... After it's first showing...
And the animation in this episode looks amazing...

Can someone explain to me what made the group dynamics of the DP trio interesting? I never really understood it.
Their interactions were mostly dull and routine, there was no drama among the main cast, and Dawn/Brock rarely interacted unless they were forced.
Dawn individually was fine, but the DP trio will probably wind up becoming the most forgotten group of the shows history. How did the DP trio stand out?
Can you please explain 'The Psyduck Stops here', 'With the Easiest of Grace' and the most recent DP190 episode then?
You can't say they never interacted unless they were forced. Come on. You sound like a broken record.

This episode already looks like it's shaping up to be a heck of a lot more emotional than May's departure.
I'll also have to agree with Scott here. I also think that Ash/Dawn/Brock was the worst group dynamic out of all the others, but it's still gonna be sad to see them split up.
Piplup and Pikachu crying is definitely gonna make me cry. I hate when Pokemon cry, it's so sad. ;_;
Bye, Brock. D: You were always one of my favorites, despite the fact that you're stale now, and dammit I'm gonna miss ya.
Dawn...I won't miss you as much. You kinda bored me tbh. But you had your moments. It'll be weird without you around.

Just saw the preview a good 10 times and I knooooow I'm gonna cry my eyes out next week.
Piplup cries, Pikachu gets teary, everybody's emotionnal... T_____T
This. DP's been pretty much stellar with continuity so this just serves to emphasizes Dawn's growth throughout DP.
ThisAlso, the three of them reading out the title = instant win.
Gliscor'd, the answer is simple: it's opinion.
Such as, for me, I couldn't stand the advanced generation cast or the series and half of the movies... However, that doesn't mean that everyone disliked it. My opinion compared to your opinion doesn't make any difference... What you may like in a group may be that I like something different.
Personally what made this group stand out was the idea of individualism in this series. As a group, they sometimes had to deal with hard situations that a single person was dealing with, such as "Dawn's depression." It made me feel connected to the group realistically...
This group seemed more like a close-knit family that would travel through hell to make it to family.
Everyone was a separate individual... No one came off as a replacement for someone else... For ne, in AG, May and Max felt like a replacement of one character (using one person's personality traits and separating it into two characters...)
this group also developed.... They didn't start off close but as the series went on, the closer they all got...

To me, the DP trio was the absolute worst group dynamics of the shows history.
Going back down to a trio would have worked if the characters played off each other well, (the BW trio with Iris and Dento looks like a step in this direction), but here it just didn't work.
The DP trio was definitely missing something. I don't see how anyone could deny it for the most part.
And nobody came off as a replacement of anyone else? Really? The fact that Dawn came off as a combination of most of Ash and May's old personality traits?
