DP 190 "Pokémon Doctor - Takeshi!" Review Thread

Bah! It's a shame they used a new character for this one episode instead of another certain girl Brock had an interest in to return here. Well, whatever. It's typical for them.

Remember when Tentacruel were bigger?

It was sort of disappointing seeing them attack again, but being so small.

But, he was a "giant" tentacruel, not a normal one...

Oh Brock fans being in denial till the very end eh? Well, least he should get a cameo for you guys. He's a Doctor, my predictions is some Pokemon get sick in the next region and Brock shows up to heal them. That or another tag battle type tournament happens and both Dawn and Brock appear at the same time??? Just some speculation here and there >< Any who at least he gets an episode for once as his send off, that's pretty good.

Seems at this point that the animators decided to make Tentacruel its standard (game) size instead of enlarging it for intimidation.

fter seeing that episode I always thought Tentacruel were actually that big, till someone told me that it was just an abnormally sized one :l

from what i've seen, this episode looks rather... unexciting.

maybe it's because of pichu, idk. at this point, kanto, johto, hoenn, and sinnoh pokémon have run their course. it would have been nice to see a sick isshu pokémon.

What? No he didn't.

At the end of the episode when he was speaking to Ash and Dawn he did. He didn't say outright he needed to think hard about it or anything, but he was thinking to himself about Ash/Dawn's goals and relating it to what he was going to do now.

...sooo when he actually does leave, what're you going to say? "There's still no reason to doubt he won't come back."

Even if people are more than a little willing to deliver the paperwork and announce early retirement for Brock, it won't be the end of the world if he comes back, just like he did in AG and just like he did in DP. The more the merrier... maybe.

And just like now, everyone and their dog were completely insistent that he was obviously being written out, and you were a complete idiot if you even considered the fact that he was staying. And hey, look, he ended up staying after all. What do you know?

There was no equivalent Brock character introduced in AG or DP. There is a new character who is Brock's expy in every single imaginable way in Best Wishes . . .

Wow, there's some serious denial here... let's go over our facts again
- In today's ep, Brock says to himself at the end something like "Ash and Dawn have their dreams... but what's about me?"
- The official site revealed Brock will find a new goal, and in next ep he'll apparently decide to be a Pokémon Doctor
- The BW series already is known to star the group of Ash/Iris/Dento, with Dento being someone who "gives advices", "knows about the relationships of humans and Pokémon", is a Gym Leader and seems the oldest of the group...

Yeah, Brock leaves, sorry... it's pretty much official and denying this is just being in denial
