That effect got me most interested. It seems like instead of less power with more usage (like Overheat), the attack will be a stamina-sapper for the little tyke. Which, for us fans, probably means more time spent with Dig, Dragon Pulse, and Rock Smash.

Well, Ash could try to overcome that extra fatigue that comes from Draco Meteor, or rather Gible's overall fatigue it seems to get whenever it uses a move. Since I do seem to noticed that Gible does get tired from using a few attacks. I mean it did get exhausted from using Dragon Pulse in the last episode against Team Rocket. But compare that to how exhausted it got from using Draco Meteor against Barry, he had to sit down, while the TR encounter, he was on all fours. Provided, that fight did look like it took a lot out of Gible, but it does seem to be drained whenever it uses an attack of some sort.

What is this nonsense that he loses all the time. What Anime have you been watching? "Ash the Loser with Pokemon?" Seriously he probably has tons more wins than losses in Sinnoh.

Didn't you know? If Satoshi isn't winning constantly then he SUCKS.

I hope that we will see Jun win again before the league. Make the battle between Jun and Satoshi at the league just that bit more interesting.

So, spaghetti haired Mr. ADHD finally defeated main male character? But only his newy catched Pokemon! With his goddamned "mascot" thingy! Oh God, why writers have to make every male character from games cry? And why they have to shove the "mascots" into our eyes? Oh, sorry, DP was the SAGA OF MASCOTS.

OK, I hope this awesome butthead doesn't become the new bike-enemy and doesn't get a freakin' power level drop in every generation's start. I would cut myself if that were to happen. Electric rat is understandable as main male protagonist needs to kick games' male protagonists' ass and still be a newbie, and electric rat is franchise's bitch, but butthead isn't. However, I do hope the butthead evolves into Sharpedo and Tyranitar's lovechild. Sorry Gabite, you are cool but not strong and ugly as Sharpedo and Tyranitar's lovechild.

Anyways, for the episode:
-Butthead eats Rocket-dan's mecha, a whole city, and Jun's bike = win

-Trainer Jun used "Mega Thud". Rival Satoshi took lethal damage. Trainer Jun got recoil damage.

-Foe Jun used "ADHD Rage". His "ADHD Rage" grew throught the episode.

-Butthead and main male protagonist became BFFs. Aaaw. Butthead still used "om nom nom" on main male protagonist's head.

-Spaghetti hair wins this match. Writers really should make him a better rival in Filler Arc.

-Dejavu for Rocket-Dan. Same explosion twice an episode.

-Giovanni fantasy was decent.

Overall, episode was quite good.

I do not know why I am not getting more hyped over this. I mean, it is literally a dream come true for me. I have been dreaming Ash captures a gible since the start of Sinnoh. I even preferred gible over riolu. And it can not come in a better package - with dragon pulse and draco-meteor....

This Gible has many interesting characteristics.
It bites like Turtwig, stares into space like Psyduck, and now it's licking like Lickitung.

Pokemons are creatures who can't speak and based on animals. So, how much chances in this situation?

Anyone has doubts about what english VA will do Gible's voice? I'm thinking his name might begin with J followed by immy Zoppi...

I realized that I had slightly overreacted.

You see, I LOVE that Gible so incredibly much. It's undoubtedly one of THE GREATEST gifts to the Pokemon Anime ever (guess, what the second one is ;) ) and it truly was my most beautiful Christmas present. I just don't want it to be messed up by some writers far away in Japan who probably don't even care for a hardcore fan's feelings.
This pseudo-legendary Gible, together with its epic moves Dragon Pulse and Draco Meteor is literally a dream which has come true and we have to enjoy every single second of this overwhelming dream.

So, sorry for my overreaction and rantings. But at least one point of criticism remains (and I'm sure this one is indeed justified):

Gible vs. Empoleon, that's basically just like 300 elite Spartians against one million Persians. How unfair!

Gible its really cool and it don't suck, because Ash just caught it not to long ago, its not going to win a battle that fast when it its a newly captured Pokemon that haven't really been train as of yet.
