DP 147 "Satoshi and Hikari! Tag Battle!!" Review Thread

Wth? O_o What is Giratina doing hanging around? Doesn't it have better things to do with itself than attack our protagonists?!

I guess they're showing him because of Dia and Pal in the Galactic episodes? But I don't mind it, I love Giratina <3

Do remember, however... that the Giratina thing is DP148, not this episode.

The writers really love putting legendaries in regular episodes. Sinnoh has more legends in eps than any other arc.

That's because Sinnoh has the most legendaries.

I think Ash might loose this battle since he's been on a loosing streak since Paul

The fact that they're putting Giratina in this episode signifies that they won't include Giratina's plot in the anime. AH!
I can only pray that this isn't confirmed but considering how the writers just PLACE legendary pokemon into fillers now... I can believe this. Can't they just have ONE filler without putting a legendary?

DP147 - Tag Battle
It's the day Kotone and Kazunari, who have been travelling together [with the group], leave. Ash [and Dawn] decide to have a Tag Battle against Kotone [and Kazunari] as a closure for their journey. The Johto team of Kotone and Kazunari take the lead at the beginning, but with their excellent combination, Ash and Dawn from the Sinnoh team slowly regain their dominance.

DP148 - Dark Stone
On their way to Sunyshore City, Ash and his friends get lost in a forest where suddenly, the "Renegade Pokémon" Giratina appears and attacks them. Somehow, the group manages to escape, but then they are directly hit by a flash flood and get caught in a strong current.

WTF at Giratina in 148 XD
So I guess it won't be involved in the Galactic final... it could be better than randomly appearing in a random ep and probably for a few seconds only... but whatever
For 147 - it sounds like Ash/Dawn will win the battle

Well because of giratina it means that nearly legendary would have appeared in the main anime except for manaphy (but there might be only one) shaymin (maybe they're saving it for Marley to make an appearance) and arceus (but there's only one god in the pokemon world).

Makes me wonder if Jirachi and Latios/Latias will be thrown in the anime before the end of Sinnoh, simply to get every legend into at least one episode.

It's kinda interesting for me will Ash's Monferno learn new move like Flare Blitz or Overheat...

OK, so what happened to the mention of the female COTD and her Misdreavus competing against a Murkrow for a Dark Stone?
This synopsis makes NO references of that evolutionary item.

That's still happening. The summery just talked about the beginning of the episode instead. That's happened before.

In the older DP Mismagius filler, it made an illusion of Groudon and Rayquaza, (as well as Cynthia/Oak/Giovanni in their dreams).

I wonder if its the real Giratina or another illusion created by the ghost pokemon.

And in DP 142, we had the real Rayquaza in a random as hell moment :-p And this is not mentioning the other weirdarse legendary appearances in DP including Darkrai, Crescelia and Deoxys. I don't think we can tell until this airs!
