First time Stunfisk has appeared in two consecutive episode :D

Miss Larvesta and kind of bummed that Luke's Gollet did not evolve into Golurk

Nice to see Boldore, Luke and Zorua in what looks to me like a brilliant episode, can't wait to watch

I LOVED the Zorua MGM lion, so CUTE!!!!

This was a very enjoyable episode, true that Luke is a bit of a bland character, then again, most of the anime characters are bland, but this was a truly fun and enjoyable episode, I'm giving it an 8/10

Also, surprised that Luke's Zorua did not evolve to a Zoroark in this episode, but I'm not dissapointed in that at all (don't really like Zoroark to be honest)

The Cafemochashippers must have had/be having a field day with this.

Oh god, can Dent get his voice any higher? I thought he would faint from exhaustion with all that fangasaming.

Dent, always play the villain in movies. It's made for him. He's the only one who can conjure up a sadistic side.

I take it the Iris twin thing is a reference to those two tiny women that hang around with Mothra.

This is a pretty neat ep showcasing pokewood. Dag you, random rivals. By the way, is this the first time a recurring character achieved something significant?

I am glad that TRio had a very minor role in this episode, because their meddling in Luke's first on-screen production was one of the main reasons why I didn't like BW038 (his first episode). It is because TRio was only featured for twenty seconds here, as opposed to the five minutes that they had in the other episode, that we got to see more of the work that Luke and the others put into making this film. Most of the group's pokemon were featured in the film one way or another, and everybody (even Iris) succeeded in the role that they were chosen to play.

The second half of this episode was better than the first, in my opinion. The first half of the episode was relatively bland, and nothing of importance went on until the second half. Cilan and Luke were merely bonding over their love for Pokemon-related films, which forced Ash and Iris to be left out of the group dynamic. As I mentioned above, Ash and Iris were able to fully participate in the production of the film after the commercial break.

I felt that Luke's rival, Jaws, was a bland character who only served to fulfill the antagonistic role in this episode that TRio was unable to. Nevertheless, Luke's victory in the Pokewood competition here served as an important milestone to his dream as an aspiring film producer. We have seen in Luke's debut episode that he didn't have the resources (the production crew, the actors, etc.) to actually produce a good film back then. The character worked in a small movie theater under the supervision of its owner, and had to rely on a relatively limited resource base (construction paper, filming in a nearby park instead of working with a green screen, etc.) to even produce a film.

It is because Ash and co., and ironically enough TRio, showed up in Luke's life that the movie producer was able to create a film successful enough to receive more funding to work on other films. We have seen this progress during this episode. The staff at the Pokewood provided Luke with computer technology, an existing green screen, and a recording studio--resources that he did not have last time, and understandably enabled him to produce a film that was much better than his first. We have seen Luke's aspirations become a reality here, and I felt that this was a proper resolution for his character. I don't think we need to see Luke again after this episode.

I am disappointed, however, that there was no mention of the battle documentary that Luke had wanted to make after he was seen shooting all of the battles in the Club Battle tournament. Furthermore, we didn't get to see his Larvesta at all.

Oh, and we got to see the wild Meloetta that will be travelling with Ash and co. in BW Season 2. Considering that TRio now has access to the most advanced technology in this series, I am actually surprised that TRio did not have the technology to detect Meloetta even after it turned invisible. Pokemon Hunter J wore special visors that enabled her to detect a disappearing Gardevoir. Why wasn't this the case here?

It's kind of sad we did't have a throwback to BW001 - Giovanni giving the mission to the TRio in their black outifts, even when it's just for a minute. Ohwell, it was a fine episode to me, but I really can't stand the so called "rival".

The part I really enjoyed was Ash saving Meloetta, that was my favorite part ^
I did like seeing Ash act all heroic in the film, hes like that in real life. Dento acts too much like a villain, some times I think he'd be perfect for Team Rocket. I enjoyed the episode over all, look forward to next weeks.

Maybe they weren't aware she could do that yet? They have special goggles in the season 2 opener, so I guess they figured out how to track her.

After watching this episode and someone mentioning TR above, I didn't even see them in the entire episode. I must have blinked and missed their 20 second scene.

I guess its one of Dogasu's complaints come true, why bother have these 20 second scenes? They don't foreshadow anything that can't be done in the eps they actually have a role in.
