It was a mildly entertaining episode. Professor Imori was researching dark matter and created a toy UFO which he used to experiment with. He then met with the Elgyem, and ever since, they became friends. Professor Imori is famous, according to Cilan. Elgyem has the power to communicate its thoughts of the future to other people (Ash and co. would have fallen off the bridge close to Imori's house).
TRio arrived at the house disguised and managed to trap Elgyem in a small cube. Ash and co. worked together with their pokemon to stop them. Tranquill managed to blow back Woobat using Gust. Nothing really happened in this episode.
Oak's Pokemon Live Caster this episode was Krokorok. Indeed the Sunglasses Krokorok did appear in the Team Rocket VS Team Plasma episodes that were skipped. This was probably made long before the episodes were supposed to air. Pikachu is in the Desert Resort in the daytime and notices the Sunglasses Krokorok behind it.
I liked the episode mainly because of the very cute connection of Imori and Pygraulon. I never disliked said Pokémon but never really thought about training one myself but my mind changed after this episode. Very, very cute indeed.
The setting felt very American for a change too, which was nice.
On the other hand...well, TR is pretty much the same they've always been ( disguises, fancy mecha, scheming to steal Pokémon) minus all the fun parts. :/ I know this is the status quo for a while but it is getting on my nerves lately. Why write them as more serious if nothing every comes out of it? Pre-BW they've been funny at least, but now?
This being said I liked how Kojiro attacked the twerps after they neo-blasted off. This was at least a small change in the old TR setup. Albeit the solution of the conflict Kojiro's attack caused was a bit anticlimatic and quick.
Feels like Kojirou is really taking a more leading role in Team Rocket.
Rigurei was really cute. I usually don't like aliens but this one was quite adorable! "Rigu"...
I fancied Ogata's animation a lot, and I feel that he has improved since DP.
And yay for business suit Rockets. They look so cool!
Tranquill finally gets her vengeance for BW002. I hope this means we will see her battle more. I don't understand too much of what's going on, but it does seem like this is taking place in New Mexico.
Step into the Fairy circle
Is it just me, or does Professor Imori look like Professor Elm? Anyway, this episode seems odd, and I can't wait to watch it.
AS EXPECTED TR tried to steel Elgym and they faild :@
I didn't saw the episode I only saw the pic ( im waiting for the us air)
but don't you think that ligray really looks like an alian pokemon ? They did a good job with that, it's very weird design and size, I love that pokemon very much
I HAVE A QUESTIOn
does Elgyem has its own UFO made my itself that it used to come to earth?
********PIKACHU I LOVE U************
As for the episode itself, eh. It was kinda cute, but not horrendously interesting, and seemed to just go through the generic plot motions. Apart from Dent's amusing science nerdiness, there wasn't really that much to note here.
Seeing as this is about aliens and the American West, this is similar to the latest two DW episodes.
How was the motto?
