BW 029 "The Monmen in Love Rides the Wind!" Review Thread

You know after thinking about it since I was reminded of it, I think the hate of Team Rocket in this episode is unfounded.

Why?

Well look at BW006, Team Rocket were on a mission, and the Twerps interfered, almost in the exact same way as this episode.

Team Rocket were minding their own business doing what they were doing when the twerps got involved.

This isn't like BW030 where Team Rocket went out of their way to specifically capture Axew, Pikachu (though that failed), and Druddigon. They had a plan to catch the Cottonee from the beginning and wanted to catch the Cottonee, and then when they found the "colony" of Cottonee, the twerps were there and "interfered" of course it didn't really matter considering it was the Cottonee that foiled Team Rocket's plan.

So again I think the hate of them in this episode is unfounded, for the simple fact they had a plan to catch a lot of the Cottonee, and not be messed with. Unfortunately as it goes, the twerps were getting themselves involved with the Cottonee themselves.

Dent acknowledging Iris AND Satoshi as "kodome ne" is the icing on the cake for what was a very entertaining episode.

I imagine it's too slow, and harder to dodge then any other, since he's a weakling.

This is a boring filler eppy, it has BORING written all over it. Only Iris prevented this to becoming an F-filler

How much fruit did Iris eat that episode? And Ash is UNBELIEVABLE. Iris' child comments fit in the best in this episode imo.

The best bit of this episode was Zuruggu jumping up at the cotton guard. I really love him, he's so cute.

I also really need to get a Team Rocket iPad! It looks great! I remember Meowth using a Wii remote for something a while ago. It's funny when they do things like that.

No, you just have a sick mind. TR tried to suck up the Cottonee using their massive fan. Although, that was technically more of a blow...:D.

So much for getting excited with the haunted mansion episode.
Rocket Dan are back to their boring (lack of) personalities from the beginning of the series.
If making Rocket Dan less of a daily event means they need to talk and behave as generic and bland as villains as the Magma/Aqua Dan from AG then I'd rather have the Joutou Rocket Dan and their 3-attacks-a-day episodes.

Other than that there's nothing much worth commenting. This episode was rather boring. This sort of plot was done to death already.
