What I loved most about this episode was how willing Ash and co., and TRio were willing to team up with one another, to solve their problem. In other situations like this in the past, this was rarely ever the case.

And Cilan finally using his Dwebble? Yes!

Decent episode for what it was. I didn't think it was downright awesome, but I didn't think it was terrible, either. Mediocre, so-so. There were certain things that could have happened in this episode, but including Team Rocket in this episode took a lot of that innovativeness the writers had shown lately out of the picture.

Wow, this episode was a lot scarier than one might think it would have been. Despite how adorable they are those little Litwick and Lampent are so demonic!
How they sucked out the souls of people and how the mansion crumbled into another dimension and all reminded me of many horror movies (my favorite!)

There were a lot of comparisons to the "Tower of Terror" episode with Gengar and friends...
but Litwick's line makes Gengar's look like cuddly teddy bears.

Looking at this...why exactly did Iris call Ash a kid this time? It just seemed like he was exercising or something to me, yet somehow that's childish?

Btw, Dento's scream was awesome, as was Ash scaring the crap out of that one Litwick.

LOL. Love this episode. Awesome Rockets was the best part. Hitomoshi's adorable yet... so evil, hahaha. Glad to see they used Ishizumai in here, that little guy needs more screentime!

Loved the floating sculpture and such, too. Reminds me of the haunted tower episode from Kanto but done way better.

Can't believe thay axed "Kokoro no Fanfare" so soon in the series...but I love the fact that they brought back the grim side of the anime to this episode...it's been a while after the Kanto saga.

Ranma ½ fan. And I never got into shipping flamewars about it either.

Saw the episode, I'm a tad less ultra enthusiastic then a lot you people about it, but still it was a good episode, but not mindblowing. Part of the problem I had with this episode is that the writers went neither here nor there in terms of horror/creepy or comedy.

    Good points

+ Ash and Dento were pretty much hilarious throughout. Cilan running away scared and Ash trying to scare that hitomoshi.
+ Speaking of Hitomoshi... CUTEST THING EVER!
+ Ishizumai, Desumasu and Koromori getting to battle.
+ The crazy hitomoshi were hilariously psychotic
+ Level of detail in the episode was impressive. At one point, all the hitomoshi attack Pikachu, Nyasuu, Kibago and Desumasu, but the one attacking Nyasuu uses a fire attack instead of a Shadow Ball who wouldn't have affected a normal-type pokémon. The kind of level you wouldn't find in... May's contest wins for example... *runs*
+ Rockets were getting funnier as far as the episode progressed while maintaining their aura of cool and competent in the beginning and the end.
    + No blast off
+ The episode realy had a unique feel to it.

    Bad points

+ Why is there a tree in the middle of the mansio... oh wait... Seriously did Iris and Kibago just disappear into the void of nothing while the others were going all ghostbusters?
+ As I said before, I wish the episode went further in the creepy horror or further into comedy but I feel it didn't fully completely achieve either.

The new ending makes me want to hurl Nyasuu down a flight of stairs and make him eat his earphones. Visually ok, but the song...

Every saga had creepy episodes. The Dusknoir episode during the Summer school arc in DP for example.

I did find Litwick's little "Moshi, moshi" very adorable.

it had its fun when the japanese ad for Trading Cards was out, but whoever got the idea to use it as ending theme for the anime might have had a little too much sake that day. They're better off making a "Roppyakuyonjyuunyuu" instead of using this if they wanted a funny ending theme.

They didn't stress their "horror (and an itty bit of violence)" as much as BW029 did, though. But again, I'm comparing this episode's similarities to the Pokémon Tower episode.

I loved Ash and Dento here, they made me laugh the entire time. Dento's scream, loved that HAHA. I liked seeing Ash save Jessie that was nice. Over all a good episode, one of my favorites of this series. Though Team Rockets faces were creepy, wonder if they'll be in the next couple of episodes?

Its a shame Ash didnt catch a Litwick, it would have been his first ghost pokemon (not including Haunter which he never actually catch) but I guess he has enough pokemon.

Okay aside from Cilan screaming like a girl while running away (I guess it's debatable if he sounds like a an actual girl or not, but I was wrong about something, it didn't make the scene any less funny whether it was a girl sounding scream or just a higher pitch than normal).

I also liked Jessie's voice when sending out Woobat. I mean seriously it sounded like it took so much effort just send it out, I thought Jessie was going to fall dead right after. It was pretty amusing.

Is it me or does Yamask not give a crap about anything? I mean of all Pokemon you'd think Yamask would know what the Litwick were up to. But it was just there, followed orders from James. Which I guess is okay, but hopefully Yamask will take some initiative and actually do something on its own.

I also did like how Ash instantly spotted the Litwick made statue thing, followed by Cilan (which took a few moments).

As for why Iris called Ash a "kid" when he was exercising. I think it was because Ash did it out of nowhere. It was probably similar Ash battling with Pikachu in BW009. I think it was just Iris being incredibly "confused" as to why Ash was doing the exercising thing at the moment he did.

How pathetically sad it was to have to wait 29 episodes to see the entire cast together and actually do something as a team. Still, a great episode. FINALLY glad to have TR back in an entire episode with the twirps, let's hope it continues.

I loved how the Rockets and twerps worked together. It was really nice, and it gave me flashbacks of the original series.

Also, you'd think that one of them would carry around an umbrella. I know these guys are kids, but what did they plan to do whenever it rained? Hope they run into a mansion?

Cilan thought about it but had no room, what with the industrial kitchen he carries in his backpack. :D

Just saw the episode myself (score one for YouTube). As of now, it's easily one of my favorites.

    - Cilan screaming (kinda) like a girl brought a smile to my face.
    - Those little Litwick/Hitomoshi made themselves out to be really adorable very early on. ("Moshi moshi." :3) That's why they're the cutest Ghost-types EVAR. Of course, their dark side was also very well-displayed later on.
    - You really have to appreciate how the effect of the TRio's gradual life-force drainage was displayed, especially near the end, where they looked about half-dead.
    - Speakin' of the TRio... Team Rocket's blasting off in style! Jet packs = win.
